Good Lord, there's some real gloomy score forecasts floating around on this thread...

I know Tim Walter is a fairly divisive subject and I'm not overly convinced myself if he can cut the mustard but I'd certainly give us a decent chance away at Luton and at odds of 11/4 I intend to invest. No denying we're going through a rough patch at present but I retain a bit of faith that the odd result or two will be forthcoming and I see no reason why the players we've got can't turn Luton over on their own patch. We need to start scrapping for results and surely that's been rammed home over the international break.

    UTT!!

Scrapping out results is exactly what we need, however I doubt that will even come into Wally's mind, he has a specific way of playing, and doesn't appear to realise results are currently getting worse under it. Sadly can't see anything other then a reversal, play OK until we get to the final third then flatter to deceive before gifting them goals, its been rinse and repeat for most of the season.

Form says we should draw or lose this one. I've got a feeling we might just come away with the points, 2-0. UTT!

I've no idea how this game will go, they are in a bad run as we are, both sides need a win, so it's a toss up, probably a draw is favourite.

I cannot see anything other than another defeat. They may be **** but they will be trying. We simply self destruct.

    Thunderbirds are go.

Anyway if you have a member of the brains team following this thread, I still love you Acun BUT FFS, appoint someone who knows what they are doing and butt out.

    Over and out - Virgil.

I dont think we willl lose
As bad as we have been
Luton are worse and concede more

It wont be a pretty game, but i wouldnt be surprised if we scrape a win

    Putting money on it

If we’ve spent the last two weeks flogging the same dead horse, we’ll lose.

I hope but very much doubt we have gone back to old school football. Defenders practicing tackles and headers in the box to stop the other side scoring, aided by panda who does the same but has the advantage of being able to use his hands.
Forwards practicing kicking the ball at/into the goal. If the ball is too high to kick use your head.
Midfielders doing a bit of both, if we're attacking move up, if defending come back.

Says the poster who said he was having £50 on Harris to win the US election and that it was 'easy money'.
Plus , said City would hit Portsmouth for 'six'.

I like your chutzpa, but that's about all.

He predicts a win almost every game , he's usually wrong but he's going to
be right at some point , not sure if it will be with this manager though

I think he’s going to come good. He does have a very languid style, which can make it look like he’s not trying but he’s got a very decent cross on him, even from his less preferred side. We just need to start getting on the end of a few more!

    I hope you are right.

The alternative is that he's a standard below that which is required, that he's shown very little ability, that he's got himself a limited breathing space due to a fortuitous injury and that he'll fade into obscurity before being offloaded at the end of his contract.

    Wouldn't be the first time.

If we had a decent finisher he'd have 3 assists
