That surprises me. Perhaps its the three at back that has been rumoured but with Hjelde rather than Alese

That's my prediction, I've not heard anything from a source.

Alese has been injured for weeks now, would seem out of character for the manager to drop him straight back in, also Hjelde seems to be liked by RLB.

Here's another, Millwall play 4-4-2 and don't mind banging it long for Coburn, this style might suit Hjelde more than a recovering Alese.

We don’t really know anything about hjelde he played injured and out of position for half a season. He’s getting international call ups, RLB likes him and the lads like him

MOTM nailed on now, towering centre back performance incoming.

FWIW I agree with you. I’d have him on the right-side. More inside forward than winger but same can be said of Roberts. Mayenda has two good feet, power and speed.

Chance for some other players to show they are ready imo. Hope they take it with both hands. I bet Regis does too, he will want a massive headache when the other lads come back.

    I would go

    Patto
    Onien, Mepham, Ballard, Cirkin
    Neil
    Ba, Rigg, Aleksic, Watson
    Isidor

I know that is a mad selection and we may get absolutely swamped in the middle. It could end up being Neil versus 3 of them, but we have to trust youngsters like Rigg to play a more mature game here imo. I want to see Aleksic and Watson play. ONien can step in like Hume I suspect and keep that same rotation. I dont see much value in going to keep it tight, so lets get after them with an attacking 5 and hope when we lose it the advanced players react.

Dan, if you are reading this, hope you get some sleep <laugh><laugh>

1-3, we hit them on the counter 3 times. 2 for Wilson and a breakthrough goal for Watson. Ba to remind us all he can play. Ballard to be MotM and give Regis a selection headache.

It’s a shame Ba hasn’t played much this season because last season he proved he’s a decent RWB.

Lining up with him and Cirkin wing backs then O’nien, Mepham + 1 other as the back 3 would fill me with more confidence than a back 4 with LON right back. Think he’s done really well at CB this season but we rely on the full backs to get up and down the pitch all game and I think he could get caught out chasing back that’s the weaker part of his game.

I don’t even know who’s available to guess a line up :emoticon-0102-bigsm i’d like Alecsik to be given the nod though, if Tommy Watson can be thrown in then a Serbian International can be.

Going to be a really tough game this one with the players we have missing, I’d take a point now.

Tough game. I smell a defeat with our squad as it is. Snap your hands off for a draw.
