Hehe, Jaguar's problems are far deeper than going electric, which hasn't held back Tesla, Kia, BMW or BYD, and whatever woke is... They've never managed to make a reliable car and despite all-time high sales in 2018, the brand doesn't exist as a luxury brand for anyone under 50.. so if they're not cheap, not reliable and not deemed desirable anymore, who is buying them - a handful of wealthy pensioners who remember the XJS of the 1980s and who are more likely to fear the change to electric motors.

Jaguar's fundamental problem, is that it's ended up the poor relation, Land Rover's so successful they don't really bother with Jaguar any more. They only make a handful of models now, the F-Type's great, the XE and XF are thoroughly bland saloons and they've had significant fault issues with the E-Pace and F-Pace, which have damaged their reputation and put people off buying them and the I-Pace (though they've mainly lost that business to themselves, as those customers are often switching the Evoke, Velar's and Sports).

    Agree with this.

We initially where in the market for a F-Type but it was near impossible to get one within 6 months without serious compromises and the deal was **** anyway.

Velar -which is essentially the same car - better deal and quicker delivery.
