This is the most optimistic post l have read on this thread.

 

Anyone travelling by train to the game on Sunday all lines to and from Southampton Central are closed due to engineering work. Please check before you travel and make sure you allow yourselves extra time.

 

It's pleasing to know that big business take note of the local situation when planning maintenance

 

Was the Liverpool game switched at any point? I'm not sure how much in advance engineering works are planned.
