What questions this story raised in my head was about who picked the team? And how senior management treats people. Munez being overruled on team selection, I never thought those sort of rumours over the years to be true. With this one, it appears particularly spiteful and disrespectful, aimed intentionally to rile Deeney, which it obviously did and achieved its objective.

He definitely uses the podcasts to say what he thinks - maybe without thinking it through first !
I had a little chuckle because I could vividly visualise all of that - I'm sure we all could.
Okay, so TD9 has spilled the beans. But we all know what we're gonna get with him - call it like he sees it, no holding back. I like his punditry, hopefully MotD (2) keep hold of him. But, he's no longer at the Vic so does it really matter? It doesn't look like he's got the temperament / diplomacy for being a head coach...

Understatement of the day Sir! But, yes, a true comment in its totality!

Looks like someone believes he's looking for a club as a player.

Claudio Ranieri has been appointed head coach of Roma until the end of the season - six months after announcing his retirement.

Ranieri has also taken on a role advising the Italian club's owners and will help in the search for a permanent manager.
