We get the best manager we've had in my lifetime and the mags get stuffed at home.
    Let normal service resume.
    The futures bright..........

    I did...good match..

Got to say, in parts Mags looked good, and that is some keeper you have...

Don't forget it was Chelsea, who are no mugs..

Big blow with Colo going of, (no good for my fantasy football team mind).

Ba, is top class..sure they will win more than they lose..

Nah we didn't get stuffed. Chelsea deserved the win but, despite our poor defensive effort we still had a good pop at the game. End scoreline is a harsh reflection of how the game went I'd say. The "if it weren't for your goalkeeper.." lines are nonsense too, because he's a player in our team and it isn't lucky or good fortune to have a great player on the pitch for us today.

For the other part of your day I'm glad for your sake to see Bruce replaced quickly. Despite rivalry I like to see Sunderland stay competitive with us and it could have been a dangerous wobble if you went without a manager for a few weeks.

The last good keeper Newcastle had toddled off to Man City and it wouldn't provide a suprise to myself if a rinse and repeat occurs in the summer.

Steve Harper is a good keeper <ok>. He is not as good as Krul but you're forgetting that Given is not the last good keeper we've had.

We have seen a dangerous wobble for the last 11 months mate... That is the reason why Bruce was sacked.

Yeah, I'm just saying it could have been worse - without a manager sometimes things can get more unstable. No need to worry about that now though anyway.

Harper is a decent keeper but not as good as Given or Krul. I'm fairly sure Man City will be watching Krul already.

    This <applause>

In the end, we were poor in certain positions. Ryan Taylor was awful and their last two goals were scored when Steven Taylor had to go off and we were down to one CB (That one CB being James Perch <yikes>)

Deserved to win, but I'd say it's a harsh scoreline.

    We move on.

Oh, by the way. Please draw against Wolves. I need it for my accy <whistle>

I don't see Man City going for him and I don't see Krul being swayed by money over games, he has said many times that all he wants is as much first team football as he can get. He's ambitious about his game, so if a big club offers tons of cash and regular first team then maybe we'd have a worry. But Man City have Hart, so I just don't see it.

Man City are looking to bring in the best that there is for every position in the team. From what I have seen of Krul I think he is a better keeper than Hart. Krul looks like one of if not the best in the league... I suppose it all depends on what happens over the remiander of the season. If Krul is exceptional City won't fail to notice.

In my opinion, Krul has been the best keeper in the league this season by some distance and is the main reason behind our defensive success
