That would be an interesting appointment Read that Van Nistelrooy is in for the Coventry job, did pretty well in Holland so intrigued to see how he would do in the championship
Seen that but I still keep seeing reports that Lampard is getting it. I hope it's Lampard as I don't think he's very good.
Really surprised that Rob Edwards and Tim Walter are still in their jobs. Less surprised that Cifuentes is still at QPR but he's also walking a fine line. Think all 3 could be out of a job by Christmas.
Hull (h) and Leeds (a) next up for Luton. Good chance Edwards is gone if they lose to Hull. Can only see one winner at Elland Road midweek too.
Just an 11 off the top of my head, players who have really impressed me. Cooper Coyle, Mepham, Doyle, Cirkin Grimes Mowatt Gnonto Checkvatedze Doughty Maja
I dont rate him at all. He got a big leg up at Derby and failed imo. I was at the play off final when they lost to Villa. He completely got his tactics all wrong and only reacted at 2-0 down with 20 to go. He was really bad at Everton. At Derby he had Jody Morris who is a very good coach of youngsters. If he goes in at Coventry he will need a helping hand, but the owners seem to think they know best when it comes to assistant coaches.
I do think Rob Edwards should get some time after the job he has done for them. He had a good crack at the prem with a squad nowhere near really. This year is a massive surprise so far, but hopefully they are prepared to give him more time. I am not sure they would get any better candidates tbh. Hull deserve whatever they get after sacking Rosenior. That is the sort of decision that makes literally no sense. Not sure on Cifuentes, always been a bit wary of him tbh. Mind you, it is a club that isnt setup to compete in my opinion.
I do hope Lampard gets the Coventry job. A decent manager could still get them challenging for the play offs. I don’t believe Lampard could do that.
6 goals in 7 Spain u21 appearances for Mateo Joseph I can’t believe he doesn’t play more for Leeds. Cracking player
Class player, been a big fan of his this season - him and Souza are class together. I was watching the game and he played on after he 1st went down even though he looked f**ked
Impressive win for Boro today, Oxford been pretty good at home. Boro will challenge for the top 2 spots imo Hull manager surely away soon
They've been excellent since they beat Sheff Utd apart from Coventry at home which can be excused because of the early red card. They've became a lot more efficient and the chances they are creating are a lot better than in the earlier games this season. 15 goals in the last 3 games is crazy.
