England games at Wembley are so dull and have been for ages no matter who the manager is. Atmosphere is dreadful and the opposition just come to defend (which is their right). Moving the England games around would solve a lot of problems, it's not like the training base is in London either.
Kane has been a great servant but the breakaway after about half an hour showed why the likes of Watkins should be playing up front. Everyone busting a gut to get there and there's Kane 20 mins behind everyone. And can anyone tell me why our centre forward decided to play defensive midfield?
I wrote down that same line up last week , as I was going to ask what would be our best tactic at Millwall be considering our selection problems. I also had Rigg/ Neil/ Browne as a three with Mayenda and Isidor up front, Now we now know that Browne is also out (ironic that he was never injured in 190 seasons with Preston but there you go ) . so that leaves a hole in midfield , maybe time for Johnson or Hjelde to step in, personally I would prefer Zak but Hjelde would just shade it on experience which Reg seems to go for.
I'm down in Wales, the bar was packed when the rugby started and no chance of putting the England game on, it emptied quicker than chernobyl and they put the England game on the tv
France looking class in the San Siro, 2-0 and a great free kick from Digne. And two minutes later Cambiaso makes it 2-1... ... they always say 2-0 down makes the other team play.
