I’ve spent quite a bit of time working in various places around the world and been offered jobs in a couple of places, but Denmark was the only place I ever worked where I thought I’d seriously consider living here.
Thats quite a common sentiment ive found Know someone who moved over, honestly the quality of life is just outrageous in comparison
Agreed I’ve worked on projects in Denmark, Sweden & Norway. Great people, amazing standard of living. And the most beautiful women in the world….. alcohol is is a little pricey though!!
I’m absolutely fine mate, not had any problems recently, other than it’s five weeks away from the three year anniversary of the last time I got pissed and I’m really ****ing boring at parties.
I had 2 years there, mostly in Copenhagen, and for me that was enough, I was beginning to find it a bit small and 'samey'. Had a great 2 years but I couldn't see there was enough there keep me interested long term. The weather isn't great, winters can be long, dull and grey, summer's ok but there's not much spring or autumn. At the time taxation was high but public services were good, don't know if that's the same now. The locals seemed to take to the English quite well. Language is tricky. Although you can get by quite well with English there's a lot to miss out on by not speaking Danish, especially if you're there long term.
I didn’t see Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson but I’m already looking forward to he next bout against Jimmy Carter…
I watched it, and didn't see Paul fighting. He's simply not a boxer. He'd get murdered by an average proper heavyweight. I don't blame Tyson, he saw a chance of an easy pay out and took it. The Katy Taylor fight certainly didn't disappoint. What a pair of warriors.
Get well soon Davina McCall is recovering in hospital after undergoing brain surgery for a “very rare” tumour. The TV presenter, 57, said in a video posted on Instagram on Friday that the benign brain tumour, known as a colloid cyst, was found after she was offered a health checkup as part of her menopause advocacy work.
As the weather is getting colder, it would be a nice gesture if you asked your Evri/Amazon/DHL delivery driver if he'd like a hot drink. If he says yes, drop kick it over a fence into your neighbour's garden and tell him you've left it in a designated safe space.
