Mind you, apparently the Vikings are the first team ever to turn the ball over 3 times, not score a TD and still win. The record is now 1-147!
Sounds like the Lions victory was akin to ours. Though how terrible must the Texans be to intercept Goff 5 times and still lose. As it turns out Tua wasn't great but I won by 0.08 points. That was too close! Still being 6-4 isn't to complain at when I was projected to win only 2 games all season. Admittedly I did add the Vikings defence since then and they have made a big difference. Though the bears defence wasn't too bad, whom I drafted.
So @......loading...... as you seemed to like my NFL dating metaphors, the game has finally finished. This was the last play of the game: please log in to view this image
Or don't fall for girls with emotional baggage, no matter how lovely and beautiful they might be Or in NFL metaphors, don't draft a QB who has a lot of yards or touchdowns but didn't play for a top tier college like Alabama or Louisiana State! As their stats might be over-inflated by playing in weaker divisions, or something
Vikings had some bad calls go against them against the Rams and Colts. Got a fortunate roughing call there though which turned a TO on downs into a TD.
The last few weeks have shown that even when the Vikings are playing terribly they can beat the worst teams in the league. Im hoping it’s a case of playing down to the opposition so when they play someone good they don’t get battered by 30
I have to say I was impressed with Darnold yesterday. Titans have one of the best defences against the pass in the NFL so it was potentially a very tough matchup for him. But was pleasing to see no interceptions and if it wasn't for the fumble on the opening drive it would have been a very clean game for him.
Can definitely see Daniel Jones being McCarthy's back up next season. Would be cheap and despite his struggles I think he would be a lot better than Mullens if McCarthy got injured or struggled.
