<peacedove> Allisson got injured on the 5th of October against Crystal Palace. Caoimhin Kelleher has proved more than capable since then . Arne Slot said after the win against Aston Villa "Alisson is -and and will be-our first goalkeeper, if he is fit".
Up to you fans what do you think?.
    YES OR NO ?

Alisson is the vastly superior keeper.

    Simple.

Sorry to kelleher but while hs is calmness personified and can stop a pen there isn't one single part of the game he is near alisson

The big man holds everything. The big man is better on one on one's. Thr big man makes class saves but doesn't knock the ball out towards danger zones.

The big man passes and assist ffs.

But the big man must be fully fit. I won't be happy seeing him protecting his leg on kicking.

Any outside of the boot **** and he shouldn't be playing

    Fully fit or don't play

Alisson will always be first choice when fit. We're just extremely gifted in the goalkeeping squad.

Caoimhin Kelleher certainly will be the first choice in some top 10 of the table. He seems to be at Liverpool at a wrong time.

Maybe so. If he were about under Rodgers or the start of klopps reign mingolet and karuis wouldn't get a look in.

If you look though the top 10 however.

    City no.
Arsenal, probably no (raya is a bit over rated though)
    Chelsea yes.
    Spurs yes.
    Newcastle, probably.
Forest yes (won't be top half by the end)
    Brighton. I think yes
Villa. No cos that argue walker is supposed great even though he is bang average
    Utd. Maybe
    Fulham yes.

    Everton not allowed.

Really outside the elite level he's be competitive to get a game imo.

I'm not sure about that Dribs. He's at a great club with the world number one goalkeeper to learn from. It's rare for a backup goalkeeper to be promoted to the number one in the same team. He will either stay for another season, given that he's had a lot of playing time here as Alisson picks up lots of injuries, or he will move on to play regularly. Occasionally players are happy to stay at a club they feel part of rather than leave to a smaller club even if they would get more playing time there - see Origi.

Kelleher is very good, and I don't feel we need to worry when he plays, but Ali is the dog's danglies and should always play if available.
As long as he's fit - as mito says. If there's any question over it I'd play Kelleher.

His selling price has gone up considerably as a result some clubs are not willing to meet the "asking price".

Yes, I'm fairly sure that's why Mama was signed. Some seemed to think it indicated that Ali wanted to leave, but I've always felt Kelleher was the more likely to move on because he aspires to be number 1 somewhere.

I'd hope we insist that he moves abroad.

Alot of European teams could do with a good GK and it would be good for him too, as he could get a better standard of team than if he stays in England

    I honestly don't see a top 6 destination

I see Newcastle having pope and Chelsea wanting some foreign 30 year old to add to their 7 or 8 keepers.

After that you've a lot of clubs currently ok.

Palace have henderson as crap as he is.
    Fulham have leno
Spurs have vicario who is woeful in the air.
    Brighton have verbruggen.

Maybe west ham or forest? Neither will pony up and it's 18 months to end of contract.. I'd be very happy to see us sell in January if we get 20mil offer.

There are no real other options he should be interested in. West ham with a 60mil stadium.would be cool for him

Easily and better than Sanchez. We need a good European team to come in for him.
