the ones who are moaning about inheritance tax. Will need a farm/buildings worth £3m. If you have £3m then you are in the top 1.5% and we also pay them subsidies to grow stuff. **** sake.
Help me out here bro because I'm not understanding it, surely if a farmers family sells some of the farm to meet their inheritance tax, then that's less land being farmed, no?
Anyway, I don't want to start any panic buying, because you get put in prison for misinformation these days, so I'm just off to the shop to get a few bits in, hopefully everyone will just dive to the bog roll section first and keep out my way... please log in to view this image
It won’t ever come to that. No farmers no food is just a slogan to scare people into supporting them. Too many fatties around anyway so bit of less food around wouldn’t do any harm
I think that video is quite old, I haven't checked or nowt but sure it's from months ago. Also the account holder is Laurence Fox, I'll say nowt other than...Lol rabbit hole
this all looks to have been driven by many wealthy people buying farms to avoid inheritance tax(that’s what Clarkson did)
Fair enough mate, I've no idea. I've seen the stuff about Clarkson but I've never read any of it. I use to be mates with a farmers son in my teens, he use to come round in his olive green land rover, I use to refuse to go out in it Looked something like this, proper Emmerdale Farm stuff... Probably good little workhorses though.
Ah I remember that, funny. I always thought farmers diesel was that red stuff, the one where the road agency and cops would pull you over to check what was in the tank.
You're now responsible for spreading panic after posting that. Why? You may ask. The answer is I've now told Mrs luv about the farmers strike and sent her this fake picture of your Sainsbury's she will now post this on Facebook to all the hundreds of people she hardley knows who will in turn post the picture and all go to their local supermarket in a panic and stock up on essentials like bog roll and Super Noodles. I hope you've learned your lesson.
Brilliant! Hopefully no one zooms in and looks at the dollar signs in the post. If they do, just say they are having a promotion week for Trumps victory where I live.
If they’re sitting on an asset worth a fortune they’ve inherited and owe a relatively small amount of tax on over the course of a decade then I’m sure they can borrow against that asset and pay it off easily enough. It’s mental this loophole ever existed. Half the plebs protesting probably aren’t even going to be passing on something of a value to be taxed.
