His longer distribution for a GK is pretty good, yes he's not as good as allsop, but a fair few outfield players aren't, but he's probably the reason we aren't bottom of the league right now with how well he's played this season so far

It's frustrating on one hand, but I'm also really glad he's had the chance to show what a top quality GK he is

Agreed. Anyone can play short though, even Ingram was fine at that. But we need to be able to mix it up if we want to play possession football. Being mad at us getting stuck with the ball in our own half but refusing to entertain the idea of a goalkeeper who can give us another option is really missing the point. People seem to love talking tactics when it's an opportunity to slam a manager's system, but when it's about keepers they suddenly want to get simplistic and refuse to believe that their distribution is relevant.

Portsmouth game made it absolutely clear. Until then he barely ever tried to pass long or mid range. Their pressing second half forced him to try it and it was hopeless. We got penned in embarrassingly.

Oh it’s relevant but being able to keep the ball out the net is far more relevant. Specially when you’re giving up high quality chances left, right and centre. 1 clean sheet in 15 games. His ability to ping the ball 80 yards accurately doesn’t even come in to it at this point.

Disagree though, Pandur has been able to play the line breakers to the centre backs quite well, Ingram was terrible at that

Not being funny here but Pandur aint the problem, there's 10 outfield players who can't pass for **** as well, in particular in the final third, perhaps more focus needs to be placed on that then worrying how far our goalie can accurately thump it.

Maybe we wouldn't be conceding so many high quality chances if our possession game was better. There is a reason managers want these goalies instead of pure shot stoppers.

Don’t think you get banned for taking a performance inhibitor, but it at least explains why our defence is always asleep.

Hull City winger Dogukan Sinik has been plagued by yet another injury which will see him sidelined for another few weeks, delaying his comeback yet further.

The injury-prone Turkish international picked up the injury in training after colliding with goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, and will now miss the next six weeks, it's understood, in what is another significant blow to the 25-year-old.
