Supporters understand that ultimately its the result that matters, and many of the clubs Leeds have come up against will make it difficult by getting ten men behind the ball, and slow the game down at every opportunity, which will make it difficult to play free flowing football against. The talent and riches available to Daniel Farke will be the envy of every single Manager in the Championship and as such there is an argument that the players are under performing this season, in a league they should be dominating. Messrs Piroe (6) and Joseph (2) currently take it in turns to lead the line, but neither have quite lived up to expectations. Piroe has performed best when coming off the bench and doesn't contribute as much a Joseph, whose tally of a goal every 415 minutes will do very little to help the Whites win promotion. It's difficult against teams that put up a 10 man defence but we are playing the same way, backwards, sideways against teams that don't though, that's the bigger issue.
The block is blamed for everything. They’ve about 100 minutes to come up with a few alternative to break down these famous blocks. They’re for the most part one dimensional players with only way of playing and most of them can’t actually kick a ball in anger. Fans can see that, most aren’t fools. We’re not signing anyone in January btw. Good moaning everyone
Morning everyone so Leeds raked the money in selling players and failed once again to bring in a top striker. These are the same mistakes that are repeated every season. Can't see Joseph suddenly finding the composure to go on and score loads of goals.
Morning all. We’re 3rd in the league 2 points off top spot (arguably we should be top with mistakes leading to goals). We have scored the 2nd most goals in the division (1 behind Sunderland) and have the best goal difference in the league (1 better than Sunderland) and fans are still moaning? So my question is, given the goals situation, though many teams park the bus against us, where are all the other teams fans going for their entertainment?
On a positive note got our three tickets for the derby game. It’ll be first game for my eldest grandson to attend. Suspect it may be his last when he sees the football on show and listens to my commentary
