Harsh on Vilcans. Deserved a better scorecard than that, especially after that start. Thought Vilcans landed a lot of scoring punches.
He’s dismantled Davies. Broken his nose, looks like he damaged his ribs as well, Davies protecting them with his elbow. Good finish.
God knows how this clown gets all this money for boxing but he does Let’s hope Tyson knocks him out Mike Tyson is returning to professional boxing for the first time in nearly two decades on Friday night in Texas. The 58-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion is fighting YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a made-for-Netflix showdown expected to draw a global audience of around 300m viewers. But is that all you really need to know? What about the rules, how much they’re getting paid and the *checks notes* 31-year age difference. Read on for all the answers ... Where and when is the fight? The seven-fight card is being held at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium, the $1.2bn home of the NFL’s Cowboys in Arlington, about 20 miles west of Dallas. It’s hard to pin down an exact time for the main event, but Paul and Tyson will not make their entrances before 11pm ET (4am GMT).
One last pay day for Iron Mike. I'd like to see him win too. One of these would do it.... please log in to view this image I hope he does better with this $20m than the $400m he blew through before he went bankrupt.
I really hope Tyson loses his **** and really hurts the clown and it's the last we see of him, but unfortunately I think the winner will already have been decided
From the press conference the other day it appears Bellew is being lined up next. Hope Tyson wins with a proper punch. Is this real or “exhibition”
While no one thinks Paul is anywhere near Tyson’s level - Tyson is nearly 60 - he will get tired very quickly. We saw Tyson lose fights looking poor nearly 30 years ago; so I am concerned for him in this one.
I agree, everyone is talking like it’s a huge mismatch, but he’s a 60 year old man that’s been out the ring for a very long time. Jake Paul may never box at a high level or be naturally highly skilled like Tyson, but he’s been receiving the best training, and committed to it for a long time now, at a peak age. His mind will be sharper, his reflexes quicker, his movement faster, his stamina higher. I don’t know what the bookies are saying but JP would definitely be my favourite in a proper toe to toe.
