Did nobody else think AP's sub at halftime was a good call? Thought it suited the situation perfectly, and Shola played extremely well when he came on.

Come one we weren't as bad as the scoreline suggests ... we created a lot of chances hit the post 3 times,... and Chelsea were lucky they weren't down to 10 men ... but before today I was a huge Raylor supporter and now I think it's time for us to get a real LB ... his freekicks and delivery were **** today ... and worst of all what was he doing far up the pitch in the first half???!!

That's no excuse for the fact that if it wasn't for Krul then it would have been a complete and utter hammering, yeah we had our chances but the amount of clear cut ones they had and spurned could of easily made it 7/8

Ba was great in the first half, but Shola was better than him in the 2nd.

Thought we played well against one of the best teams in the league, those of you abusing the team should remember that Chelsea have a far superior squad to us and the players did well

I bet AVB will say it wasn't a red cause Pardew's the only one who has the balls to admit when a decision goes his way

Nope, Howard Webb. There's loads of pics of Dean wearing a Spurs shirt online though. Useless ****.

Why does it matter who prevented the goals? In most games it ought to be the case that the goalkeeper prevents more goals than any other player - That's his job.

Yes they have a better squad and that chasm between the two was exposed massively today

Perch was good to be fair. Still don't fancy having to rely on him if Colo and Saylor are out for a while.

How people can slate our perfermance today i do not know , afterall we were playing one of the top 3 sides in this league and they do have some quality ! We played well, a bit wasteful at times but our passing was good , the subbing of Arfa for Shola was a good one , caused them a fair few problems . Guthrie played well aswell did Cabaye , our defending werent the best but we did have to attack them with lots of force and they just got us on the brake. At the end of the day the scoreline doesnt do the game justice , we hit the cross bar twice , the post and also forced Cech into a real world class save and had a goal line clearence. Both teams had there chances but we were unlucky not to atleast get one. Im a real happy TOON fan and think after the performance from the last 3 games we can finnish top 7 .

We really needed Tiote for that match, Cabaye and Guthrie were good but the amount of times Chelsea got in behind our CM and exposed of defence was criminal - especially in the 1st half, 2nd half not so bad but we really needed someone to hold.

    Obertan was ****, pure 100% ****!!

Ridiculous comment. Saying we deserved to be hammered because our keeper had a good game. That's like us saying if Sturridge wasn't on the pitch Chelsea wouldn't have created any chances. A keeper's a member of the team just like everyone else. Also Cech pulled off a wonder save, we hit the woodwork three times and had one cleared off the line. We also had four key players (Gutierrez, Tiote, Coloccini and Taylor at the end when two of the goals were scored) out of the game. AND they should've had a player sent off. We were screwed.

I have to admit the 4-3-3 formation had me worried so the switch to 4-4-2 was a good call. Shola did as you say do well. Just wasn't our day.

Sorry just to clarify I am also an extremely happy toon fan at the moment and we should not get on the lads' backs!
However completely contradicting that Lover is ****!
But in depth Guthrie and Perch (minus the 1st goal) impressed for me 2day

Our full backs are not good enough for the top level. Colo and Saylor are top drawer but Simpson and Raylor are not up to it. I would let Simpson go in Jan and bring in a better replacement, his touch and control when moving the ball forward is horrible to watch.
