How quickly things can change, earlier this year City thought they had had the best owner in sports and Hull FC’s owner was running them into the ground. Now Hull FC have the some of the wealthiest owners in Super League and City’s owner is AWOL, whilst the clown he installed in charge is dragging us to League One. As a fan of both clubs it would be nice if something could go right for both at the same time!
Stop been a twat Vern, I might be logged on here all the time but i'm not on here 24/7. If this is true then good on 'em, i've said it before i'd like to see both teams prosper for the Derby's sake.
FC will build their own stadium, think someone has got the wrong end of the gossip here. They don't want to be in the MKM, it's too expensive and too big.
**** me, it's joke time on Dull Daily comment section. The way some of 'em are talking they think they've won all the trophies already in one season. I do hope they know it's gonna take time to get up and running. Pearson gonna stay on in a consultancy role.
Or ever predicting a City result correctly !!!!!!!!! Is it not a fact that if Hull FC were ever relegated from the Super League they would have to vacate the MKM?
Probably is to be honest. They came and looked at Plough Lane 2 years ago so it's been a long term plan to have their own stadium, training facility etc all together somewhere for a while now. 14,000 seater with 4g pitch would make much more sense than paying a massive rent on a stadium they can't get close to breaking even on. I'm told the new owners are still very much looking to move.
The interest on the money needed to pay for a new stadium and for its upkeep would be more than the rent they pay to use the MKM.How much rent do thy pay, incidentally?
Same here. But a knowledgeable FC fan told me that..Not sure how he knew it, but he was pretty adamant...If Hull ever got relegated, they'd have to ship out. I know its odd, but you do occasionally come across a knowledgeable Hull FC fan.
I’m pretty sure that’s nonsense, but their current terms are fairly irrelevant, as their lease runs out soon and they need to negotiate new terms anyway.
