This is what I mean. We've now basically had four different suggestions for penalty taker. I think, as captain, you can also add Hammond to that - with no Lambert, he may decide to pull rank and take responsibility. And what about De Ridder, or maybe Cork?
Not a surprise (I noticed we had been quiet on the Lambert front) but will make things tough. Guly is good away from home at holding the ball up and is prolific enough to be our second highest league scorer.
No appraently wasnt the case i was flying back from Leeds Bradford airport on 22.11 and the 1830 flight was delayed...well i went to the bar and sat next to james beattie who was flying back home having trained with sheff utd we got talking and the flight got cancelled - check if you dont believe me... anyhow - he had borrowed a mates car and it was at the airport carpark - so being the gent he is he drove me back to southampton parkway airport anyhow - he told me billy sharp is one of his best mates - the deal was agreed with donny and personal terms also agreed - just before he signed cortese called his agent and lowered the terms - he refused and so stayed put. crosby has been speaking with him again and he is hopeful of signing for saints in jan - but also west ham and boro have also enquired he then told me the rumour was that ricky may be going to newcaste (old rumour i know) for £5-£6m he also wanted to come back to saints but hasnt played for ages lallana keeps asking adkins who says he would look at it once he has played some games - hence the deal with sheff utd... anyhow - i have to say he was a really humble guy, quite intelligent and extremly nice too he also said some other stuff about lowe, pahars and england team mates that were very interesting

Still, Lambert signed a new contract recently and went on record saying "I want to finish my career here at Southampton". I don't buy this "he's leaving in Jan" rubbish.
you are free to choose to believe what you want not sure what is not believable about beattie - he is a footballer - not superhuman - maybe you expected him to fly himself back from the airport...

it make me laugh - you guys check my history of posts - i have never posted any rumours... and the only reason i did id because it came from a ex saints player who still speaks with adam lallana regularly and he hears stuff from time to time not like im making out he is my friend because he isnt it is pertinent to mention today as we are playing donny (i.e. billy sharp) and lambert isnt playing
lallana asked adkins if he could come back - beattie said he would like to also - he did tell me about barnard investigation that he is in huge trouble for his part
look if you dont believe it fair enough no need to be rude you just come back in january with your tail between your legs
