Sunderland Fixtures 2024/25

Looks like Burnley will be a 3pm kick off and a good crowd, Burnley will sell out.

Cardiff tickets look like selling out despite the distance, kick off time and live TV.

We were allocated 3213 so should make some noise down there.

 

Cardiff will be a cracking day. Shame about the early kick off but a 3200 allocation is excellent - we’ll sell out, no doubt about it.

 

Some fixtures have been moved for TV. At least they are giving plenty warning this season.

Away vs Preston, Wednesday 6th November, 8pm KO

Home vs West Brom, Tuesday 26th November, 8pm KO

Away vs Sheff Utd, Friday 29th November, 8pm KO

Home vs Stoke, Saturday 7th December, 12:30 KO

Home vs Sheff Utd, Wednesday 1st January, 8pm KO

Home vs Portsmouth, Sunday 5th January, 3pm KO

Saturday early kick offs and weeknight matches are the bloody worst. Our old office was in Newcastle and lad in work with is a mag, he used to bring in some beers and chuck them in the fridge when they had a late kick off. Got ready and had a few beers before heading out on the piss then just got his missus to bring him in the next day! Wouldn’t be as bad if I couldn’t that mind

 

Doesn't do me many favours that ...

... Stoke at home is better Portsmouth, the rest are hard work.

The atmosphere at home to Leeds was superb last season. That was a Tuesday night. It’ll be even better this season on the Friday

Sheff Utd, Burnley, Boro and Leeds away games all been moved to a friday or a monday night. Our 4 biggest away games of the season. Doesn't sit right with me.

 

Really poor and quite annoying, especially the Monday nights. I’ll go but it’s far from ideal

 

Stinking set of TV fixtures for us

 

I enjoyed Burnley away last time on the Friday night like. Atmosphere was very good and we were unlucky not to win

 

Being a bit selfish I wish they were all early KO as it is better for me as we are 8 hrs ahead here.
Doesn’t really matter though as I set my alarm and watch matches anyway but because of work sometimes miss second half.

 

I absolutely hate early kick offs, part of the experience is going for a couple of beers with my old man and my mate before walking over. Completely knackers it up as it's not the same going out after... especially if it's a disappointing result!
