Our next proper break isn't until after we play Bournemouth on 1 Feb, when we have two weeks off, but we currently have nine days off after we play Man U on 5 Jan. We have nine PL games between now and then (plus CL and LC), which seems loads given we've only had 11 so far, and that match will be the first of the second half of our season. We thought we'd see how we were looking after the last block and have come out of it with a five point lead. If we're in a similar position after the Man U game that will be a real marker. Let's see how the squad copes.
Not sure I follow - surely both those things are good? Except social media clickbait making out that now we're five points clear we're nailed on for the title.
He's referring to the interruption with the international break. It sucks for the game after too because unless Jota or Chiesa are back, Nunez or Diaz will have to start after flying back from south America.
I hate the incessant chatte thats got so much worse over the last 18 months. The standard of the articles is so low and so click baity now thst any genuine work by people trying to be a genuine sports journalist is buried under a mountain of utter drivel with zero quality. There's 10 lfc shartiles a day at least from all the same sort of sources and then the likes of Romano throwing crap on top. International breaks calm it very slightly but not by much.
We need a Southampton thread please. A) macca plays Wednesday night at midnight and nunez plays wednesday night at 1am so both are ****ed for Southampton B) diaz plays Tuesday so not as bad. C) Netherlands play Tuesday. D) France play Sunday so are very reasonable to us E) salah has the time off. F) engurlund also play sunder so again quite good. G) ni play monday H) robbo plays Monday bit will prob play both games fully. Kelleher/alisson Bradley konate vvd tsimikas Gravenberch jones Salah slobo gakpo Jota Maybe start jota and Jones and sub on the jet lagged trio later on. At least we play Sunday so the players get a little chance to get ready.
You were right. He couldn't have been clearer in what he said. To be pedantically grammatical - the subject of his sentence was (man) 'city' and the verb was 'handed'. What were city handing? "Another title to Arsenal". The whole statement was as incorrect as it could be. But we are talking about Diego
