Decent performance and showed some spirit and fight, but near where near good enough in the final third...In the second half we created maybe one good chance, the Slater header over the bar. Other than that I can't recall another guilt edged chance. The game was kind of gone at 2-0.
Whilst I see a relegation fight we might have enough to stay up, but it could be close.

Understand the sentiments but at this stage/level an owner with more National contacts could have been a better choice? (even without the huge investment/trips to Turkey)

Frustrating result. Basically gave the game away inside 15 mins.

"Mason did a great job today, and Longy [Longman] he came back from three or four months' injured. There was a brilliant synergy between ourselves and between the fans today. They were brilliant.

Not a bad second half but why do they only play well when they are losing and having to chase a game? Late recruitment and bad luck with injuries doesn't help but when you start the season with boring defensive tactics you end up getting what you deserve.

I think a top 10 finish is [fill in with appropriate text]

I think a top ten finish is aspirational but not achievable.

Yeah, seems as if we have to create five chances to score one...At 2-0, the game was out of reach.

In the first 15 minutes we played exactly as we did against Portsmouth - and West Brom used the same tactics - and it seemed like we didn't learn our lesson.

I'm not sure what changed - whether we made a tweak - or West Brom managed the game and their energy levels a bit better. But the first 30 mins they did a job on us and did enough to win the game.

The biggest issue was we couldn't get out. Our defence only had Simons to pass to - the rest of the team were in a line beyond about 6 West Brom players. Walter still hasn't worked out the midfield issue.

In hindsight, I'm beginning to think Acun's decision to sack Rosey, and replace him with a bloke from Germany who had zero experience of English league football was possibly one of the most stupid ever taken.
Not that he can get his boots on and show them how its done.
