As well as that we really don't have a squad suited to him. He'd be mental to take it and he's a smart bloke.
So in other words they don't have a clue. Reckon a £50 bet on an outsider would push them right to the top.
More than likely. I'd take any of those though (although I don't think any of them would take it). Garcia would be really interesting.
Seriously thinking of handing my season ticket back. Do the owners really think the fans are likely to put up with this crap for much longer. So so disappointed in the team and the owners at the moment.
Same. I'm not enjoying the football at all. I have no idea how feasible it is but I'm rapidly running out of the will to go to games.
Why not go and make your feelings known? Easy for the club to ignore social media noise but much harder to ignore it in the ground. Russel Martin, we're not having fun
It's not easy to do that when others aren't around you though. The best way of protesting would be for fans to walk out just after the Liverpool game kicks off. It's on Sky so would get national attention.
Yep, checked after waking up. Still refuse to watch another game whilst that smug moron is here. This is worse than Jones.
That interview on the BBC is pure delusion “Now the guys are doing what we were told we couldn’t in terms of having so much of the ball in the Premier League” And it’s working so well. We have so much of the ball because teams let us have the ball in the middle of the pitch. I would think anyone who knows a bit about football could see that. We do very little with the ball apart from get comfortable with knocking it around in the middle of the pitch, then inevitably lose it and look extremely vulnerable when the opposition get the ball. You can’t keep the ball for the entirety of the game so need to not be so utterly clueless about shape and committing players, especially when the team isn’t a good one for the level you are playing
Tbf, we were unlucky yest. I always say you can’t blame the officials but.. yesterday and against Leicester the officials were so bad that they essentially gave the opposition the win. We still didn’t create enough. But.. I do think we were really unlucky
It has to be it now for him. When you ask the simple question of “Has there been any improvement between now and the start of the season?” The answer is a resounding no. If anything I remember optimism after the Newcastle performance so it has gotten worse. I was one of a few who thought our unbeaten run last season was papering over way too many cracks and made us seem way better than we were and it seems like that has become very evident this season. Something I’ve been stressing to everyone and one of the biggest and most baffling things to me is we’re largely still operating a defence that has Bednerak and Stephens, two players who were involved in BOTH 9-0 losses years ago are still in our first team and still look dogshit every game. And since we bought them both years ago we’ve also bought Salisu, Bella-Kotchap, Nathan Wood, Ronnie Edwards, Caleta-Car, Lyanco, Hoedt, Danso, Holgate (loan) and Vestegaard. Yet we are STILL using Bednerak and Stephens… this is a huge reason we are where we are. We are using defenders that have done nothing but prove that they are too **** yet they still get picked again and again. Even the one game we won this season we still lost a 2-0 lead. Nothing will change until we get new Centre backs and a manager that knows how to defend.
Not quite. Vestergaard & Danso was part of the 9-0s as well. Hoedt was already here but bombed out on loan cos he was ****e. The rest are a combination of meh, ****e and Stinking attitude, and none of them are better than Bednarek/Stephens. It's a terrible look at our recruitment over the years. I also think our problems are much more than who our centre backs are, but I'm bored of repeating myself there
