Last time I tried to flip my new mattress it nigh killed me, weighed a fooking ton, so sod that, surprised the bed aint collapsed under the weight of it lol. Can't remember the make.
Ordered a medium wholemeal toastie to come in the shop, it arrives with a substitute and I hadn't really paid attention. A thick sliced malted bloomer, beautiful bread, absolutely lovely but has fooked my 'being careful diet' for the week. Will need to eat extra of those plums I purchased lol.
Yeah they are heavy, but it's worth turning them and flipping them around if you can. Like I said, I'm off to Dartmoor camping again so I can sleep pretty much anywhere with minimal comforts, but when I'm at home I'm really fussy about the mattress and bedding. I only use 300tc-400tc Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet cover etc lol. And I have to have a dark room without some ****'s security lights shining in my bedroom.
Refurb is superb tbf, it'll be better once it chills there absolutely packed tonight. 16 taps of "flower beer" 6 cask couple of lager and cider.
Morning- up early - long drive ahead - South Wales for an 80th birthday celebration tonight - not mine ya cheeky ****ers!
This. There's one of these poncy pubs near me, all IPA **** not one fuking lager or mainstream beer , ****
I don't know where all this IPA came from, I just call it bitter and always have done, generally that's what I'm looking for on the pumps, Bitter not IPA - it just sounds like Americanism to me, but it's probably not. I tend to find a decent bitter will have a certain flavour/tang to it that is missing in IPA's. Also my favoured bitter compared to IPA will be darker in colour and lager is just piss.
IPA is an Indian Pale Ale. So basically, not the same as bitter. Depends on the hops and that. They are also various American Pale Ales now. Which are probably better than IPA'S IMHO.
Funnily enough I bought a few bottles of Shipyard the other day, the session, not tried them yet, got them for £1.25 a bottle (500ml) which seemed cheap to me although the strength will be less than 4% so probably that keeping the price down.
