RLB needs to learn about sitting back As soon as they got the first we should be out but we continued to invite pressure. now we’ve got no Roberts, Mundle, Hume, maybe Browne for an informal milwall. hopefully that’s ****ing lessons learned and it doesn’t happen again
Not sure on that mind. Connolly has a LOT of potential and he scored goals last season. I just think Isidor shouldn’t be getting moved wide to accommodate him. People were calling for Mayenda to be sold last summer now all of a sudden he’s apparently better than Connolly because he’s scored two or three goals. The problem with Connolly, in my opinion, is that he’s being brought on to see out games when we’ve lost momentum and control.
Going to rob all the free wine I can now, we’re still top going into mid November unless Sheffield United batter Wednesday tomorrow, we’re going fine, tough one today but we’ll be in the top 6 come may, where in the top 6 who knows but that’s part of the fun, enjoy your weekends gents and haway the lads!
Should have getting mancini, clarke harris and im gonna tear up my already sellotaped up season ticket etc etc.
100% this, it doesn't work moving him wide to accommodate another striker. I know he can play on the left but he's not a winger for me.
Mayenda is our best out of possession striker by some distance. All the numbers and the eye test back that up. If we are going to insist on allowing the opposition to have the ball (stupid thing to do) then surely we need the best pressers on the pitch.
If we don't start to control games through possession then unfortunately we will start to slip down the table. We have the players to do it.
Young team and Young coach both learning on the job. Both made rookie mistakes today. Super goals are nice but they all count the same. Isador needs to play thru middle and use his pace. At the minute struggling to see were Connolly fits in unless playing big man small man up top. Bellingham a miss today as he calms midfield when game management essential. RLB with hindsight, playing 5 at back was a slight over reaction. Coventry were never dominating and sitting back just invited balls into our box. First half showed how good we can be playing attacking football but second showed our naivety and perhaps over confidence. We need to be ruthless and a few more scrappy goals, just to finish teams off. Secure points and save legs for next game. Hopefully they all learn quickly as were good enough for top 6 and maybe top 2..
Not with his shooting. The pass was the right option but he passed it behind. His passing was ****e today. Probably about 70% I reckon.
