Yep. These things are killing the game. There is no consistency. Every time the commentators look at it they change their mind - so how can it be CLEAR or OBVIOUS?
That’s a double **** for me. If they’re buying for Championship then that tells all. I know that’s not exactly what you were saying but both are terrible acquisitions for this year. Nuts.
What pissed me off is that Archer gave a could away against Dawson for rolling the player when the ball came to him. No different than the goal that was overturned. I thought it was a penalty if the goal didn’t go in.
We really do play propaganda football, don’t we? Every time they get the ball it looks threatening. We constantly have the ball, yet barely ever threaten.
Don’t agree tbh. We haven’t been over troubled through the middle but we have been quicker at moving the ball forward than when he is playing. He does like a pass back.
I think any team who starts, in the EPL, Manning and Armstrong, deserve to lose. I’m no economist, but I gather thh he ere are 19 other managers in the league. Not 1 of them would start either of them in a game, let alone both. Weirdly though we haven’t played well, and whilst we know we are a bit **** under Martin, they are proper **** as well. There for the taking, and yep changes for the 2nd half needed.
Not just refeering, imo. Quality. Atmosphere. Enjoyment. It's all lower in this league. Get me back to the championship any day.
Easy, in Championship they don’t have VAR as a “save me from making a decision” so they are a bit more decisive & actually ref the game. Complete VAR pussies in PL. I ****ing hate it.
Playing very well. Passing has been excellent. Feel for Russ. Worst decision I've seen for a very long time. Gutless reffing.
In fairness, Diaz made sense. He had a great return in his short spell in the PL for a crap team and was on fire in the Championship. Even if he doesnt work out in the PL (not looking likely) then he should do well if we go down. And at £6m we won't lose anything on him either
This will sound very conspiratorial, but isn't it convenient that Wolves, who have moaned incessantly about VAR, get a massive VAR boost against the team the league obviously values the least? Shut them up for a bit and then go back to screwing them over for the big teams. VAR is just an extra tool to ensure big teams get the decisions.
Thing is we have been here before. Loads of times. We play ok, teams are for the taking, but we don't take. We give. I see this ending 2-0 Wolves now, and I am Mr Positive.
Wolves have actually been pretty crap and their crowd are on their back even though they're winning. If we score early in the second, I can see us winning this. However, I can equally see us going to sleep at the back and letting them grab a second against the run of play and going into a tailspin
Tyler and SAA to come on wide and have a run at them. There is definitely a couple of goals for us if we can attack them and put them under pressure.
Fernandes is getting better each week. Runs the ball forward at every opportunity. Would just like to see him have a crack from 20 yards out instead of passing to someone else. Arma showing that he’s still not premier league level. Can’t retain possession to save his life. (Now prove me wrong and score you bastard). Archer getting no service again but is losing the ball when he does get it. Aribo seems ineffective to me.
