Just seen Trump's pick for Ambassador to Israel. Hamas and Hezbollah should have surrendered when they had the chance. I thought it would be someone pro-Israel, which makes sense. But Huckabee is another level.
Not sure about that ... a wise man once posted "Never underestimate the stupidity of Americans" ... all those swing voters who switched to Trump as a protest against the Biden regime's facilitation of the Israeli war machine prove the point ... From a global perspective, the appointment could well be the catalyst for a much more unified and firmer UN stance (excepting the US) on a 'solution' for Israel / Palestine... so every cloud ...
You think the UN can take a united and firm stance? Keep it going Fosse, what a start to a Wednesday.
I’d hazard a guess that the Democrats pro-Israel stance cost them votes. In fact I think that trend is fairly well documented; not that those people voted for Trump, but they didn’t vote for Harris either. Harris got way less votes than Biden did four years ago, not sure Trump got more though.
Well there was enough coverage of Arab Americans, who tend to vote Democrat, saying they wouldn't be voting for the Biden ticket because of it's role in the Gaza genocide ... Perhaps you were only viewing Fox News?
I doubt many Americans even know where Israel is on a map, let alone swinging voting intention. I'd struggle to believe that Americans in any sort of number would be swung by stuff over Israel, unless they've all suddenly taken it up as a pastime.
Even the ones who travel are pretty hopeless geographically, I had one older couple asking me if Britain was in Europe. As to Israel, that's about religion, not politics and the religious right have their strongest political voice for a generation. Get ready for the rapture.
