He only put £75,000 of his own money into us.

In his own words, that was the spare cash he had available at the time.

I wonder if the club’s annual accounts will reveal his salary as CEO.

He tells more whoppers than Ivor and Sams.

I never believe stories like this find their way into national newspapers by accident …

    The Sun today.

Maybe not, but why is it in there ?

    Why us ?

Roland, Sandgaard & Methven are as thick as thieves IMO.

I haven't read it but "Forced" to leave? The lease still has many years to run. and buying The Valley would be less than £100,000, unless Douchbag has more than doubled his asking price, which is possible. The story could have been planted by Methven to put pressure on him to lower his asking price. I can't imagine Douchy planting the story.

    Its 100m , not £100,000

That figure is very unrealistic without planning permission.

The Valley is now far too big for Charlton.

You could build a ground half the size on the peninsula.

I can only repeat that the day we leave the Valley again is the day I finish for good with this club. I think a lot of others would do the same.

You’ve got one of the smallest & worst grounds in the Championship (don’t Lewisham Council own it <laugh>) …and you still consistently fail to fill it. Fact.

I would not go to the new ground. I would support Welling full time. Charlton is the Valley and the Valley is Charlton as far as I am concerned.

My enthusiasm for Charlton is hanging by a thread these days, and that thread is called the Valley.

Cray Wanderers' new ground would be handy for me.

The whole thing stinks worse than my bottom after a poo.
We'll leave The Valley in the next 10 years.
