I saw about five minutes of Channel 4 coverage of the US Election. I only switched it on because they had Boris on doing analysis. Krishnan Guru-Murthy asked Boris when he last saw The Donald. Of course, BoJo did not answer but instead blustered on for about three minutes making continual references to his recently published memoir. I am assuming that the fit blonde sat next to him was Stormy Daniels. Apparently, the woke producers dispensed with Boris later in the broadcast once they realised that he was just using it to plug his book.

According to coverage of the Left-wing meltdown once they realised that Trump was going to win, Guru-Murthy ended up having to apologise to viewers for the use of naughty words by his co-host Emily Maitlis as it became apparent that Kamala was getting annihilated.

In the Right-wing Telegraph, they ran an article entitled ‘This is America’s darkest dawn’: How the Left-wing media reacted to Trump’s victory that repeated tweets from the likes of former wet Liberal Tory MP Rory Stewart – predicted a Harris landslide just two days ago – confessing to being completely wrong. Carole Cadwalladr reckoned “democracy died in darkness” so she must have a strange definition of ‘democracy’ as it appears the one with the most votes won. Carol Vorderman tweeted “God help America” before Trump had even been declared victorious.

Harris supposedly had all the Swifties voting for her so was guaranteed to be elected. How could Americans not vote for a woman endorsed by so many celebrities? Perhaps they should look at Camilla Tominey’s piece Kamala Harris ran the worst presidential campaign in modern American history for a few clues. Or they could try Annabel Denham’s column Trump’s has just unmasked the awkward truth about ‘diversity’ that concludes “At least this outcome is a resounding repudiation of the worst elements of the DEI cult.” I like the conclusion that Michael Deacon came up with in The woke Left have no right to wail about Trump’s win. It’s all their own fault (byline “US voters are sick of the sanctimonious midwits who refused to learn from the 2016 election”) – “the only reason their side lost is that American voters are evil, bigoted, transphobic racists”.

Pretty much although I'd add that the Democrats alienated their own support with their foreign policy choices.

Who enjoys seeing slaughtered kids thanks to the guys you voted for the last time, after all?

I voted for Trump: Arthur Trump, now secretary for the East Essex Postcard Club. He has a lovely batch of trolley bus posties from the 1940s.

He is my great and loyal friend Raymond. He has completed three summers in my garden and feeds from my hand every morning. The Robin truly is the finest patriot.

Did I say there was voter fraud? Nope.

You're creaming your manky y-fronts over Trump winning.
