We are 2nd in the form table and top of the actual table. Not 100% record so you’re throwing your toys out.
Get yourself an anonymous account on twitter and start spouting shyte - there were a canny few at it tonight, during the game
You have literally just said we aren’t serious about promotion, as if that makes it okay that we can’t take 3 points from poor teams. What are you talking about
Forget about RLB and the lads, that’s irrelevant. The question is really simple … … in which way are you not accepting it?
Thats it. The players and coaches and Speakman etc etc...these are who it's down to when it comes to acceptance, mindset, performance. We as fans can be accepting of things happening like drawing two games and not scoring, but it's more of a personal thing, we really have no control until things end up being really bad, then maybe we are vocal and push a decision being made on a manager. Reg will be desperate for us to get back to our best.
My point is our aim for the season was playoffs, not automatics. We can’t win every game. You’re the kind of idiot that thinks if we don’t get automatic we’ve failed. You want to win every game. We won’t. You’re saying we’re accepting ****e when we are in literally the best position in the league and our form is 2nd best in the league, despite 4 of the 5 games being away. Just **** off with your “accepting ****e” nonsense
That’s the inevitable answer of someone who can’t back up what they’re saying … … exactly what I expected. You’re making out you’re superior, to other people, by posting drivel on a chat forum, then tell me to go to bed when you don’t have an answer.
Apologies, I didn’t mean to upset all 9 stone wet through of you. And So? By your logic if we were 15 points clear of second place with 10 games left and we bottled it that’s fine because we weren’t expecting to win the league? Absolute **** mentality, I’m glad RLB isn’t a loser.
Im not making out I’m superior whatsoever? I’m just stating that us failing to beat teams at the bottom end of the table is failure. If you don’t accept that then fair enough, you must think we are **** and overachieving. I don’t, so I expect more
We are still top of the league and everyone including RLB a bit wiser, Understand our strengths and weakness and look forward not backwards when commenting on our expectations. We have a chance of automatic promotion and should play accordingly. 2 points against teams in bottom half is below average and we should be aiming higher. Some points away from home better earned than others. We should be looking at 4 out of 6 if serious about automatic promotion against QPR walloped 41 by Boro and Preston. We have a hard working team who give everything for the badge. We have a tight back line with good options with Ballard also. Bellingham, Rigg & Neil are all exceptional talents that need managed carefully, Rest and formations managed well, with experienced heads to help mature quickly. All 3 will play premier league, Lets hope its with us. Up top we have still to find a like for like replacement for Stewart. Lets not get graft and kissing the badge mixed up for the man who will deliver promotion. We need a 20 goal striker at this level, Somehow I think Stewart scores against either QPR or Preston and thats the 4 points. Roberts Mundle and others can be match winners but we need to see consistency. Can we uncover a hidden gem from our bench as we will need fresh impetus to finish above Leeds and OR Sheff Utd. Transfer window will be key as these lads will go close. Aim high and enjoy the ride.
I've watched us vs Hull and Luton recently, missed the Oxford game then watched it the next day. I missed the QPR game and then watched tonight. We have achieved a wonderful points tally in those games, 11 from 15. I think there is improvements to be made in away games, Hull was similar to QPR, but we kept 11 men on the pitch and Isidor took a liberty with 70 yards of free space against Hull. Luton was similar to Preston in terms of how much we were dominated in that first half. I felt like vs Luton, we struggled to get out and it made sense because the only really outball was to go long and push up the pitch. Against Preston, if we pressed more we may have become even more open, we didn't seem at it. They had us all ways I felt. Mepham struggled which was a sign of a bad night. We fixed it eventually, but by then Preston really should have killed us. Dan Neil getting **** makes sense when you think of our reliance on him to be near perfect to not only control games but use the centre to be penetrative. I saw Rigg make two wonderfully direct passes tonight, passes that I think we are expecting from Neil. I wonder if when this new kid gets up to fitness and Dan sees how good he is, will his game be raised further.
Imagine Man City accepting a point against 17th and 18th in the table? Nah, didn’t think so. Accept draws against the worser teams in the league we’ll find ourselves plummeting down the table sharp. Fair enough if you don’t see us as promotion contenders but don’t tar us all with the same **** negative brush. A lot of us think we’re more than capable and deserving of our league position
Of course you are, you’re saying some people are accepting shyte whereas you’re better than that and not accepting it. My question, once again, is what is it you’re doing different to them outside of your own mind … … as far as I can see it’s absolutely nothing.
How does that work? I’ll tell you, it doesn’t. You ‘not accepting’ and anyone else ‘accepting’ makes absolutely no difference in reality … … what you think doesn’t affect the results in any way whatsoever.
we did not expect to beat Hull and Luton but do and they turn up we were expected to beat QPR and Preston but did not, will we beat Millwall and Sheff U ? no surprise if we do, but luckily this is one season we might get lucky only Sheff U at the minute to worry about Clarke is missing and now it is telling.
Doesn’t winning games at home and drawing away pretty much average 2ppg which is promotion form. Isn’t that what we are doing? Whether the performance attacking wise hasn’t been great or not?
Honestly I think Isidor could offer more than Stewart could. His runs when he plays CF are great every single game. If he was picked out more often in a game he’d be scoring pretty much every game I reckon, he also feels better on the ball than Stewart ever was.
I disagree on the depth of the squad as some you have not seen play yet and others are injured but I guess that is your opinion. For me we are capable of top 2 and have proven that this season, we have not played too well in last couple of games and still come away with draws in both and they were away games. My worry is that we have failed to score and we seem like we have lost a bit of a spark but it only takes one moment to reignite that so I am still confident.
