For me we don’t create enough chances to have a serious promotion push, and our depth beyond our first eleven isn’t good enough either.
Christ, if we don’t create enough chances for a serious promotion push then Burnley will be lucky to get a playoff berth!
Could you explain what we have to do, as supporters, not to accept shyte … … seriously I’ve absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. I'd love to know so I can alter my behaviour.
After watching Preston for 90 minutes, and Heckingbottom interviewed after the game, I can honestly say … … thank f*ck he’s not our manager.
We are 2nd in the 5 game form table and only one of those games was at home. Pretty incredible that actually.
I’m sitting in a £40 Preston hotel, with no telly, patiently waiting to find out the secret of how not to accept shyte … … if I’m part of the problem I need to know before I cause any more damage.
The question was posed over the road about how many points we'd get from the last 5 games with 4 of them being away from home. My response was that 7 points would be fine and 10 would be fantastic. Well we got 11, didn't lose and only conceded 1 goal. It's a tremendous return. The next 5 will be harder though.
5 games ago I was thinking they will be a big test. Points from those 5 are fantastic. If we'd drawn at Luton and won at QPR instead maybe we'd be feeling better about it. Last couple performances but flat admittedly, Hoping for an improvement at weekend. Tough game . A couple goals and good chance creation would lift the spirits.
People coming on here saying we arent serious about promotion is a start. Next it’ll be the good old “ I don’t want to play in the premier league anyway cos we’ll get beat more.” Accepting 2 points from Plymouth, QPR and Preston is accepting ****e. If we’re accepting that then we don’t deserve to go up.
I still don’t understand what you’re saying. How is anyone accepting it any more than you … … in which way are you not accepting it?
Not sure how you want me to rephrase it? Like mentally handicapped terms or..? Some of us will accept a point at QPR and Preston away then claim we aren’t serious about promotion anyway so they’re good points, others will argue they aren’t good points because they’re dross we should be beating and we believe we are better than that. Do you think RLB has gone back into that changing room and told the lads it’s another good point?
