One thing to note as well - less than 20 years ago, Trump’s current policies would have been considered liberal. The Overton window has shifted SO far left
I think you'll agree a chartered engineer with a worldwide career in instrumentation and control has a reasonable grasp of mathematics, in fact I'm quite good at sums and the interpretation of data. Your lack of intellectual capacity, poor grasp of reality and inability of original thought is more than obvious from the material you post and the sources therefrom.
Not sure I'd say the US leaving NATO is 'likely' tbh. I know he was grandstanding about it previously but I think that was much more about putting pressure on countries to match the spending agreement than actually leaving. Think he's actually got a good point about other nations not pulling their weight too
Kamala Harris didn’t even have the decency to speak to her supporters. She would have been an appalling leader. I’m so glad I never have to hear her annoying voice ever again. Hopefully we get a similar reaction over here soon so we can get rid of Starmer and his band of incompetent commies
In truth we're no more or no less safer as Trump will be new peaceful in some aspects, in others his actions will leave us less safe. As for prosperity it's a bit of a disaster for Ireland as he wants to bring the multinationals back. I don't think it will work but it's another reminder that our economic success is built on sand... His last stint showed most of his talk was bluster although he comes in with a stronger hand anyway....tbf he focused on matters that the resonated with Americans, the Democrats didn't. If they want to bounce back in 4 years they would do well to remember this. I was hoping Harris would win but not as angry as last time Trump won. Both parties are odious as is Trump, a horrible human being. Politics is so depressing in the US and this is what we're left with. The Cult of Personality wins out
Trump obviously liked the floods in Valencia, he wants to help create more global warming….,what a fantastic man he is. Trump during his first presidency, rolled back hundreds of environmental protections and made America the first nation to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. This time, has again vowed to cut regulations, particularly as a way to help the American car industry. He has constantly attacked electric vehicles, promising to overturn Biden's targets encouraging the switch to cleaner cars. He has pledged to increase production of US fossil fuels - vowing to "drill, drill, drill" on day one in favour of renewable energy sources such as wind power. He wants to open areas such as the Arctic wilderness to oil drilling, which he argues would lower energy costs - though analysts are sceptical.
Anyone who denies that global warming isn’t happening…,,is truly bonkers and need to give their heads a wobble.
Another lovely misunderstood fella…… “**** off, everyone opens the door to me,” 30p Lee told a security guard. Man of the people, you say? “Reform MP Lee Anderson ordered to apologise after swearing at Parliament security guard.”
As someone with a fair amount of prior experience in the security industry, I'd be prepared to bet everything I own that there's a very specific type of security guard he'd speak to like that. I bet the guard filled some or all of the following criteria. 1) Small 2) Female 3) Foreign national 4) Young 5) Works somewhere where they desperately have to be of a subservient personality type in order to keep their job. Good old Lee would speak to a Doorman in Brixton with a very different attitude. ****ing bully.
This man took a bullet for his country. He could be retired somewhere on a beach. Instead he’s fighting to make it a better place. What has that journalist done for the world, except moan? No one will remember his name. People will remember Donald Trump for hundreds of years now.
He did NOT take a bullet for his country. Soldiers take bullets for their country. I think with Remembrance Sunday coming up it's worth pointing that out.
