Still try the M6 but come off before Blackpool turn off and down A6, takes you down to the M55 straight over roundabout into Preston

Apparently new opening time on Motorway is 4 am

Basically they don’t have a clue

They're so scared they'll get hit with legal and insurance nonsense,they're paralysed.
The idea of clearing the incident quickly to allow people to move on isn't part of their procedure.

I'm so pissed off,I don't think I'm going to subject myself to this ****e anymore.
That's fine Tony Blair,/David Cameron... let's open us up to loads of people coming in....but...we can't cope with it....our roads,rail,schools,housing,police.....I want to get to Preston tonight to watch a match.....it's a ****ing travel from hell.The road network is dogshit....railways as bad.
Do you have any idea how miserable life is for us,normal people trying to live their lives......you ****ing idiots?

 

After 36 years of long distance motorway driving through Britain and Europe I've taken the decision to stop my line of work and change my career, too many idiots on the road to b enjoyable now like it was when I first started. Mind you there's still idiots on local roads but I know where you're coming from

Someone was killed in the crash but I understand your frustrations.
Once the motorway is taken out getting South from here is nearly impossible.
When we moved here 26 years ago we rarely had the motorway shut, now it's a weekly occurrence, the basic standard of driving is appalling.
