Another 7 games? You must be joking. We'll be entrenched in the bottom 3 by then if you give him that long. Get rid today and use the international break to appoint someone who knows what they are doing

    Carvalho £22.5m (+£5m add-ons), Delap £15m (+£5m add-ons), Philogene £18m, Zaroury £4.5m (+£1.7m).

I wouldn't have Zaroury in there, Tufan and Connolly contributed far more, Zaroury was a big disappointment.

The three also only sold for about 55-60m not 90! But yes even better point that they basically never started together.

Also lost Seri for a chunk at AFCON.

But most aren't asking for the sack for not getting promoted but to stop us getting relegated. There is a big difference

People saying Walter has lost the dressing room. You can’t lose something you never had in the first place. They’ve never accepted the style of play let alone understand it, they aren’t on board just like us fans aren’t.

Rosenior - a great man who had the club at heart but his football mainly at home was often uninspiring. I came away from the KC feeling disappointed on quite a few occasions. But we had some great results and the feel good factor was the best it’s been in years.

In hindsight given the rebuild we had in the summer it was the wrong decision to sack him. But at the point he went, although I was disappointed I could see why Acun made that decision considering he backed him in January and we went from 5th to 7th. The Philogene and Delap injuries didn’t help but they happened before/at the start the transfer window so the replacements weren’t targeted correctly, and some strange decisions were made.

Walter was shafted by the ownership in the summer losing every talent we had and replacements coming in late. Some fans never got behind him after the Rosenior debacle but equally Tim never made an huge effort to gel with the fans either. The players tried but in recent weeks it’s clear they are no longer behind him and a change is needed.

That wasn't the point, but for me relegation talk is premature.

Ok fair enough- we are only 3 points from the bottom three.
But we sack him this morning, who do we get in? Do you feel Acun will have someone lined up?

Why are we saying in hindsight it was the wrong decision to sack Rosenior?

It was the wrong decision at the time.

Anyone able to track Acun’s plane like back in the day? Heard some rumours he landed at Humberside earlier.

It only looks a bad decision because the Tim hasn’t worked

In hindsight yes it was. But at the time most rational people could see why even if they didn't agree

Sacking Phil brown for dowie was a poor decision in hindsight, but we aren’t still talking about it.

Probably because it was 15 years ago not less than 6 months ago.

I'd also say equating Rosenior taking us from 14th to 7th with almost 12 months of awful results is quite a leap.

It looked a bad decision as soon as it happened.

That depends on your definition of rational.

But that’s my point, it’s done it’s gone regardless of time frame. Rosie failed, Tim’s failing…let it go
