    Neymadge mkII...

Quality player who I wanted is to sign as a very young player. He went to one of the big Spanish clubs, picked up horrible traits and developed a massive ego.

He's even been linked to Saudi already, but then, who hasn't?

tbf, the only reason there was a 5v4 break was because he took on an beat 2 Leverkusen players in our own half.

Another game of two halves, first half kept them at bay, second half picked them off as they tried. Tactically excellent from Slot.

it is becoming to look like a deliberate tactic of conserving energy for the 2nd half

It is starting to look like that, certainly. Leverkusen are known for being very press resistant, deal with that and keep them from scoring in the first half and it lays the foundations for a second half rampage as they tire and we come into our own.

All their possession and precision passing means nothing if they can't score. We've been there, done that and while it might not be so good to look at, if the goals keep coming, I can deal with a little frustrating play.

The first 2 goals were both excellent while being completely different in style .

They were mate. You could see Cody's goal was well onside but the wait for the check has you wondering what will they 'decide' to do. Have to say the refereeing was pretty good all round.

Rafa was at the game last night. I wonder if Alonso, Luis Garcia and him had an Istanbul reminisce. <magic>

The semi-auto tech was pretty slow on it, normally only takes a few seconds

It was close enough thst they had to move past it.

Once these are fairly clear by eye the semi auto speeds things up but you then return to guessing games on tight calls and drawing lines based on opinions

While I agree it looked well on on the replay it proved.to me close enough on the lines drawn.

Yeah I thought looked well onside but when see the side by side it was a lot closer than it looked so can understand why took a bit longer.

Obviously, in real time, the lino's going to flag because it looked tight. Sitting at home, watching tv with the advantage of replays, it was very clearly onside from the first replay before going to different angles etc.
