Weston Super-Mare could've won a money spinning cup replay at home in previous seasons. They drew 1-1 away at Bristol Rovers at 90minutes. That probably would've meant a sold out ground for them, plus likely tv revenue - life changing money for clubs at that level. Instead, they lost 3-1 in extra time and missed out on all that because the elite clubs voted to scrap replays because their poor ickle players can't cope with the extra matches.
Yeah massive shame they've gone and devalues the competition for me personally. I do think it'll see more upsets though.
We didn't have much more than half IIRC. Small ground - I think we only had an allocation of 1600 or so.
