A weekend of strange scores. Brondby were away to top of the table Midtjylland this afternoon - and won 5-1. Rajovic played the whole game but didn't score, although he did get one assist. I guess his double against them in the 2-0 win last month was enough for him...
Handy little win for Millwall over Burnley - handy for us, that is. Burnley now just one point ahead of us and within striking distance.
Hundreds of tickets remaining in Fulham's Riverside Stand for tonight's match vs Brentford. Having to do digital adverts at train stations. Minimum adult cost is £100 for a seat in the corner right by the away fans. It used to be the game for the working man.
That is just ridiculous. Mind you, all football's financial problems can be traced back to Fulham - they set the ball rolling when they decided to pay Johnny Haynes £100 per week...
That is one thing we can be grateful to our owners for, we have a stadium we can be proud of with planning permission for an extra tier that could increase our capacity by approx 10k AND our ticket prices are the same as 5 yrs ago
Good job this didn't affect the final result! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cx27qyl6g6no
Did Mings forget the rules of football when he was out ? Totally lost his bearings ! https://x.com/footballontnt/status/1854238345808716268
End of a generally very successful era at Coventry under Mark Robins. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8el50wprr5o Will be well sorted after and the new manager is going to be under a lot of pressure to start well.
Shame really, but such is life in football these days. I thought he had done a decent job with Coventry - only missed out on the EPL because they lost a penalty shootout. I'm sure the media will try to blame us for setting a 'sacking trend'...
We get blamed for everything to be fair, the current favourite formation of 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 is only an updated version of our 4 - 2 - 4 and everyone plays out from the back because one striker cannot compete with two centre backs if the ball is always played long but an accurate long pass often leads to chances. GT was right then
Chelsea running riot in their Conference League match against Armenian team Noah - not half time yet and they're 6-0 ahead
Bit of a boring 2nd half - just the two goals to give Chelsea an 8-0 victory. In Edinburgh, Hearts were pretending they're Watford against German side Heidenheim. Played all over the top of them but failed to score, then had a shocker of a second half to lose 0-2
