And if Trump wins there will be daily comments like there was last time. Mention Starmer and Reeves cock ups a few weeks after the election and they will be deleted or the thread locked.

Trump as much as people won't like to admit it would be the better option, but unfortunately Harris will win imo

But neither should be anywhere near that position and it's absolutely laughable that they are the best a country of that size can come up with

I heard the bookies were flooded with Trump money last week so they could be trying to square the books...

Too tight to call and if I was given a grand to bet I'd put it on Harris, these odds look skewed.

Too close to call, but whoever wins the swing states, wins the WH....So its down to the likes of Pennsylvania, Arizona, N Carolina, Wisconsin, Nevada, Michigan.
My cousin Tom, born and bred in Baltimore, but living here now, will have voted Democrat, that's assuming he has bothered to vote.
Strange system in the US...Each state has a number of college votes, the bigger the state in terms of population, the more the votes. So say if Trump wins a state by 1 vote, he gets the full allocation of college votes. I've always thought that's a bit unfair, but so is our system. First to 270 wins....(I think its 270)

And why do you think Harris, who appears unhinged without a coherent thought in her head will be any better?

To be fair we have Turkish owners, a German Manager and our last Manager is now in France, I find European elections more interesting than American ones, more relevant to us and would also like to comment on European politics.

Don't get me wrong I don't like the guy and think he's awful. But from a growth and financial POV he'll be much better, his policies and America first stance will improve their markets, bring down unemployment, bring down the price of things, I think he'll stabilise the Russia/Ukraine war and also the middle east ( only because those places know he's stupid enough to do things if they don't fall in line ). They have a border issue like we do and he'll deal with that more effectively ( some won't agree with how he does it but he will ) then Harris would. Plus as much as we don't like to admit it, what happens over their and then in turn in their markets massively effects us and the world as a whole and I think the world markets will react more positively to him over Harris.

As a person he's obviously extremely questionable at best. But for the reasons above I personally think he'd be the better choice for president for them and ultimately us.

I think who is the President of the USA have more effect on world matters than who is in charge ofvEU countries. The only mystery is, as others have said, why in a country of that size these two are the best they can come up with. Mind you for a long time you have to wonder why we have not come up with better leaders of both main parties.

Bring down the price of things? You mean he'll create deflation?

This would be terrible for the US economy and the UK, as it would increase the real value of debt (which both countries have a significant amount of), leading to recession.

I think trump will say absolutely anything to win
And just wants to win for winnings sake
But the ****ing mentalists who he’s appealing to are the concern.
he has literally no idea on anything apart from **** like
    Immigrants are taking black jobs
They’re eating cats and dogs in Ohio

    moronic

she certainly hammered him in debate

so I hope she will flourish if she gets the job

I don’t think any one of the people who run the US are competent to do so. The last election, I thought it was a good result for them, & the whole crying by Trump & his supporters was ridiculous, I still do.
I hate the whole social media lies & deception, people who listen to them are bigger idiots than the people running for President.
Biden is incompetent & should have been binned off a lot sooner, but it didn’t suit the Republican’s plans. However I saw on Twitter that this was going to happen long before it did, by the same “influencers,” so maybe there’s more to it than I’m giving credit for.
IMO, the best outcome is for Trump to win, if he doesn’t, there’s going to be accusations & toys out the pram worse than last time. Not just to stop all the inevitable idiots rioting, but just in general, I think we get passed this whole MAGA Trump campaign once & for all.
We all know it’s his ego & not the well-being of the country he wants to win for.
I think it’ll have a positive effect on the current wars going on too.

I think the price of Gas over there would come down under him for example, which is a major point for a lot of US citizens and I don't think lower gas prices would be bad for the American economy at all

Correct, you have separated the politics from the personality.

Well I’d rather wait for Howden to see what he said but off the top of my head
    Trump is
    A sex offender
    Too old
    A habitual liar
Someone who has a lot of failed businesses and no obvious success compared to what he started with financially
Going to kill young women by not allowing treatment that might cause a baby, who will also die anyway, to die.
Speaks appallingly about how he treats women, and other people.
    Someone who trusts Elon Musk
    A cheater at golf
Someone who tried to cheat the last election by encouraging others to ‘find him votes’
    A sore loser
    A racist
    Someone who mocks disabled people.
Stole millions from charity to use for his own campaigning
    Dodged his army service.
Walked in front of the Queen like a ****.

    There’s loads more of course.

I think Harris would be better because
    She isn’t Trump
She seems a decent human being
She seems more literate and articulate

The only thing I’ve ever really seen negative about her is that she used a relationship early in her career to get on. That may or may not be the case, but I don’t consider it as bad as the things Trump has done.
