We're talking about getting a new puppy in our house and were deciding what we should call it if it was a boy. I can't believe Reggie didn't occur to me. That's SO the dogs name now. Even if its female.

What I couldn't tell was whether this "re-injury" had already occurred before we signed him, or if he's aggravated it since.

Sounds like a reoccurrence. From what I can piece together it appears he picked up an injury in his last training session at Lens. Both clubs believed it was a minor issue and agreed to proceed with the loan.
The injury was either worse than expected, or reoccurred in training and he's been out ever since.

Always enjoy the trip to Preston. Driving down for this one. Not massively confident though, think it’ll be another draw

Much happier if Rigg is available. Really hope that we can get ourselves clear and then allow some time for Aleksic or AN Other to try out in that advanced midfield role, though. We've got away with one somewhat here. RLB needs to test some stuff out.

Can’t believe how happy I am to be having a 17 year old kid back in contention for a starting spot.
He does give us something a bit different and was missed on Saturday.
Ballard on the bench is huge as well, Preston have been bemoaning poor referees decisions lately and hope this continues on Wednesday.
No reason we can’t give this a right go HTL.

Bench will slowly get stronger in the coming weeks with Ballard, Alese and co coming back. Interested to see what Abdullahi can do as well. We almost have too many strikers :emoticon-0140-rofl:

It's the same injury that was there when we signed him. It's re occured twice. Won't be fit to play until the turn of the year.

If it occurs again, I would terminate the loan. Literally half a season pissed away through the occurrence of an injury.

Yeah it’s unfortunate for us because it was a minor injury. But he’s obviously not made of strong stuff if it re-occurs this much. Or he’s convincing people he’s fit when he’s not and making it worse. Either way there’s something dodgy about it.

Terminate in jan and get some other cover if he’s not fit and playing by then imo

If it's black you could call it Réglisse which is French for liquorice ...

... and Reggie for short :emoticon-0103-cool:

Have to wonder why a CL centre mid was easily allowed to leave on loan. Sounds like we have been had a bit.

That said, we are performing well and this is a minor inconvenience. Annoying though.

I think he was injured in one of his last sessions for them but after checks was assumed minor. New play style knocked him out of lens team and he wanted to play.

it is frustrating but I’m not blaming us for this one for once

I guess the positive of Salis is that if we'd signed him in January, it would be taking him until February to get up to speed. At least this way we should be able to use him over Christmas break and all of January, rather than waiting until February
