We have them next, always been a bit of a bogey team for us. See they’re in 7th, didn’t realise they were going so well. Tough game this.
We're better than Burnley. An extra day's rest too. A draw would be acceptable on Wednesday but we are more than capable of winning. They will do the usual kicking and scratching hoping for a set piece but they aren't as good as West Brom.
Promotion chasers Burnley were beaten for the first time since August as Jake Cooper’s headed goal gave Millwall a big win at The Den. Cannot afford to take anything for granted on Wednesday.
I saw this on Twitter and immediately thought of Eire. Seems like the Ipswich dream is fading already. If we go up we better be prepared to give it a go to stay there.
Common reasons people don't listen include distraction, disinterest, self-absorption, opinionatedness, defensiveness, and more. Sounds just like that deluded Spanish twat
The best thing about them being **** is that we don’t have to put up with him on our board anymore. Agent Phillips is playing a blinder as well
Well all the stat sites say, Mes has saved 17 shots on target, and we have conceded 8 and yet only faced 24 shots on target. So I'm presuming that Sunderland's 2nd goal is the one that they don't count as a shot. Am not at home at present, so no idea if the figures quoted for individual games is correct, but no reason to doubt them either
At this stage of the season a run of games and you can fly up the table They were in relegation spot 4 games ago but are on a good run. They’re tough at their place.
They actually are doing worse than stats suggest. Prior to today's game their performances suggest that they should have 5 points more than they actually have
Not sure if this is good or bad stat, that he’s saved 17 of the 24 on target or that he lets 1 in 3 go in.
We (Ben & I) watched the whole of the Millwall game today followed by the second half of Manchester B against Chelsea. Honestly, the Championship game was much, much more watchable. Blood and thunder, full on tackles, reasonable skill levels. If we play reasonably well on Wednesday and get a few breaks we’ll win. Seen nothing all season to suggest we won’t win the league at a canter (injuries and suspensions permitting, they’re the unknowns for me). Then of course, our own fans can berate the club for what they don’t do, we can have a bad start and Spanish will be back like a STD, what’s not to like?
Well it depends how you want to look at it. Yes Millwall are playing better than results show, but so are we. Millwall should be on 24 points instead of 19, and we should be on 29 points instead of 26, if football was decided purely on a stats basis
Well only us, Burnley and Middlesbrough have faced less than 30 shots on target so far this season. Boro have conceded 12 from 26 and Burnley 6 from 27. 2 of the goals Mes has conceded (1st by Portsmouth and 2nd by Sunderland) most on here would say he should have saved. Stats wise Mes hasn't rated highly since the first year in the EPL, in fact he's probably been below average. I like him, but the stats don't show him in a good light
