If he is gone after the Oxford game, I can see us getting the Turkish guy who was sacked by Cardiff!!

'If' we were to turn in another abject performance and this 'sacking' were to be carried out,we are left effectively 'managerless'.It would signify(to me anyway)that the owner has ran out of ideas and patience and is hoisting a white flag a third of the way through this season...

In my opinion Coyle has been overworked in every game he's played under Tim Walter. He's a decent defender at this level and an excellent man marker...Not a Defender,Wingback/Right winger rolled into one.The poor lad must be exhausted with the effort he puts in,he'll end up injured and there'll be no need to rest him...He'll be crocked!!

He must be as mentally drained as physically.

Hardly surprising. Acun runs this club on a whim.

What’s Neil Warnock upto these days?

Get him in as an interim until the end of season, gives Acun plenty of time to get a long term option

You want Tim to work out? Your posts would suggest otherwise

    I want to win games
Tims clearly not the right man for the job
But the ownership has no direction or plan

I can see the Wally situation dragging on like Ten Hag at Manure. Have a crap run (like the one we are on) Then win a game here and there to save his job - rinse and repeat

I’ve been one of Walter’s staunchest supporters/defenders. Even now I don’t think he’s a bad manager. His tactics are different and I respect that he’s cultivated a unique style of play in his career as a coach.

For whatever reason, it’s not working here. Players don’t look like they’re playing for him. Body language has been off all season. Giles was signed permanently and even Kesler made odd comments about him needing to respect the club for spending so much money to sign him. That to me suggests Giles never wanted to be here.

My issue is, I don’t think sacking Walter and getting someone else in will be the big fix everyone hopes it will be. We’ll end up gambling on some young English manager from League One or overpaying for a novelty candidate.

I suggest if Walter is still here, he should drop Coyle as a reward for good behaviour. Play Drameh and Giles in their preferred positions and also make sure we have a pair of midfielders in that empty space in the middle of the park. Just for '****s and giggles'.

No point if there's no replacement lined up. We'll just end up waiting another month or two before appointing another experiment. Acun couldn't run a piss up in a brewery

I’m pretty confident Walter won’t be sacked even if we fail to beat Oxford.

We’re on course to get around 53 points if we carry on our current trajectory which is not amazing but solid mid table.

Edit: Got my maths a bit wrong, not solid mid table!

It's only just above the relegation zone. Sometimes it's not enough to avoid the drop

Problem with this is - we won 3 games in quick succession and not really looked like winning out of that patch of form.

I think we need a wider points sample to have any idea where we would end up at the end of a full season of Walter. But the performances do not inspire confidence.

    Ye
How the **** has he worked out 53 points is mid table??
Its a win or two above relegation at the absolute most

And spending 3-4m on multiple players to get 53 points?

I've no idea if Walter is the right man for the job. Nobody possibly could after 13 games.

If you don't give him a fair crack with a whole new squad and a new style of playing then what's the ****ing point anymore.

True actually, I thought it would have us a bit safer but having looked at last season it’s only 2 places above relegation. Previous seasons it can be as much as 6 places above relegation.
