Their last goal was in the 81st minute. Poor show. We didn't get our first until the 89th. CCFC out CCFCs CCFC.
8 teams within 3 points of us now, so a big win yesterday. A couple more wins and those numbers will start to climb for you Sparkey. The Championship being the championship, no game will be easy, but some winnable games coming up. We need to keep everyone fit and desperately need to find some cover for Robinson.
Omer's style is bang on for Robbo. If he's appointed and Robbo avoids injury, I'll back the guy to get 15 goals this season - that will be crucial unless he gets some decent options up top.
You and I said before the season started that we felt there was a player in there, Erol just needed to play to his strengths. Erol couldn't, but as you rightly say, Omer can. We've 8 different scorers now, so as long as they all keep chipping in, there will be less pressure on Robinson. We do need to find back up for him though. Hopefully Riza can get Kanga to transfer the finishing from training that's been talked about into a match day. A few cameos from Reindorf might help as well.
Norwich will do well to keep onto Sainz. He was an absolute joy to watch yesterday albeit very petulant on one occasion, and like his sizzling brace last game out his goal yesterday was right out of the top drawer.
Millwall showing again what a crazy division the Championship is. Doesn't look like anyone is going to run away with it. So perhaps it's a golden opportunity for a resurgent team to take advantage. Not that I have anyone in mind of course.
I was with a fan this pm who said our next 6 games are all winnable. They are but in this league they’re all loseable.
That was late Edit just seen the video highlights:like Fulham last night Sheff U doing a Cardiff City
She was far from happy.... The Sky remote may have flown across the sofa in my direction with orders to change channel It was slightly amusing to watch them fall apart in the last 10 minutes though.... They probably edged the game up to that point but Mrs Brizzle admitted it was a s#it game and dreadfully boring to watch (even when they were leading), not helped by dreadful co-commentary from Rob Earnshaw, who seemed to mention Cardiff on quite a few occasions
We'd be in a worrying place if it wasn't for Riza's 6 game unbeaten run. The international break will help. Rest for Robinson, more work for Reindorf and Etete. We desperately need more of our midfield and attacking options back from injury to share the workload. They might not make it into the starting line up, but they can take 15-20 mins of the running. The bench looks unbalanced and lacking in options at the moment.
A long way to go yet this season. I don’t think you’ll get relegated, but I also think it will be a long tough battle for you this season.
That was tough to take midweek, we absolutely $h@t the bed in the last 10 mins. We were the better side, but it was a pretty poor game, especially the first half. A very good response today though
We weren’t the better side by any degree. BR cut through us at will in the first hour, then sat back and soaked up our belated huffing and puffing with no real bother. Then went upfield after we’d scored to make sure. It was very telling firstly we only scored from a spot kick and secondly left our ‘main’ striker on the bench. As it stands we’re in the bottom 3. Enough said.
