A mates at the game scouting, says Adil has been impressive - says you can tell he's level above everyone else n has made it look so easy

On the back of this my mate said he was really impressed with us as a team, said Adil was the stand out Said Ba looked like that he didn't want to be there and was really poor, kept going down looking for fouls appartently - can't see him featuring this season at all
Ba does strike me as someone who has ability but lacks the spark to really make a go of it. Adil not so much, I think he's got the ability and the desire to go with it. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of him, maybe Jobe being out will give him a chance. I think Regis has had him on the bench a few times so I don't think he's out of the picture.
I've always been a fan of Ba as I feel there is a cracking player there but we are on yr 3 with us and he's not even in squads now so I suspect his time with us is done. Do think if could have a cracking career if he moves to a less physical league and a team/manager that has a specific role for him Adil has the talent but he's probably 7th choice, the good thing for him is 3 of them could be missing on Wed so it gives him a chance, all it then takes is 1 good performance to be back in the managers plans
Both Aouchiche and Ba have caused no bother or disruption in the squad or in training. Both have just got on with things and continued to graft. I think it’s worth mentioning and that they deserve some credit for it. I know it should be a given, they’re still getting paid and should do as they’re told etc but we all though that’s not the reality all too often, particularly when they expected moves that didn’t materialise, have good experience at a high level (in Aouchiche’s case in particular) and are young lads in a foreign country.
