Not impressed by Riza's lack of substitutions. Might as well lose 3-0 while chasing a point.

My opinion of his subs hasn't changed. 3 single changes. Not sure if there is an issue with Rino, but a defender isn't what you need to bring on when you're losing. With the earlier changes, if you're changing 1 you might as well change 2 given you've 5 subs and 3 opportunities.

We're bound to lose the next one as Riza will get (interim) manager of the month and the curse will bite.
4 wins and 2 draws from the last 6. Top of the form table. To hell with it Cling, lets get excited.

Riza meeting with the board this weekend. How can they not give him the job?

It's a fantastic feeling isn't it especially after tears of despair. I promise you there will be an Appletons celebration this evening.
I'm delighted for Riza and the way he manages players and games. I've been saying for ages that a striker is not always necessary and our boys are proving the point.
Also because rubbishy Ng wasn't playing, I got a scorer in the prediction league.

Norwich must be thinking what the heck happened there.

Inevitably Sainz scored a worldy & up until their manager tinkered too much and went to a back 5. They were the better side, missed too many chances and probably on another day they’d have been 2-3 up but they must have been stunned by City’s never give up attitude and endeavour.

The whole team put in a great shift in but plaudits to Alnwick, O’Dowda, Turnbull and Rhinomota who were excellent today.<applause>

With the 90 just about gone, I thought I'd jinxed it.........<laugh>

Fantastic result and very reminiscent of the home games last season against Ipswich and Southampton.

Not sure what Willock was supposed to be doing in the abscence of a recognised front man, but Robbo coming on was a huge lift.

O'Dowda looks class and Turnbull is growing into his slot.

Just wish Colwill wouldn't try to take on the world and spray a few passes about instead of running into defenders,

Interesting that Riza didn't go for Meite or Kanga today.

We're still in need of a 9. As without Robinson, we're goosed.
Ashford back helps in wider positions but we could do with a couple of the other injured players coming back with games coming thick and fast.
A couple eminently winnable games this month that could establish us solidly in mid-table.
Management of game time will be critical for some players, with Robinson needing to be wrapped in cotton wool.

A few of us felt as if there was a player in there somewhere and Omer seems to be getting the best out of him. He just needs someone to share the workload with him up front.

Nice second goal but maybe lucky on Robinson's deflected one

I'll take whatever comes our way Robbie.
In off someone's @r$e will do.
In the last 6 games we've scored some nice goals, but they all count the same.
We're getting a lot of shots off since Riza took over. Statistically we'll get a few deflected.
