In what should prove to be Tim Walter's last match as City manager, who were the standout performers? Select your top three, in order.
Pandur by a mile - saved us after that terrible Hughes cock-up. Then double save, one onto bar in injury time chaos in our box. Puerta - why was he subbed? Best outfield player. Would like to see him and Zambrano together. Jones or Coyle next as the other two defenders had poor games. Jones for at least one super long pass. Hughes did some good stuff but too many mistakes. Drameh is a good player but suffering on wrong side.
Belloumi. Made several good chances & looked our only real creative threat yet again Pandur. Saved us from defeat with top double saves Hughes very influential 1st half We really are not improving & starting to be demoralising watching home performance with regular no wins to cheer. Walter does not seem to know his best team, and we a not seeing the best of the team
Pandur - His last minute Jimmy Montgomery like save gained us a point. Unbelievable on several levels. Belloumi - Classy player but oh so frustrating anarl. Pedro - Proved that he's a better signing than Billy Sharp through the medium of sticking the ball in the ****ing net.
In the first half we should have been at the very least 2-zip going into the break. Total ****ing joke the equaliser, and from that moment on all confidence literally drained away from just about everyone of our players. From that moment on I was just waiting for a Portsmouth winner… thank **** it didn’t come. Cannot put a 1-2-3 as I’m so ****ing annoyed by that second half. Hats off to anyone that stayed until the end… we could be sat in 11th… **** sake
Just had a look at the Sky highlights, and Pandur's at the end was a triple save, possibly even a quadruple. But in amongst it, the tip onto the bar was world class.
Geez Ernie. Does this one come with a government health warning? Pandur Coyle Jones Pandur can go to Juventus, the rest can go to FrayBentos.
1. Panda (even though as others have said, his distribution needs to be better) 2. Belloumi (even though as others have said, he's frustrating) 3. The long suffering home fans who keep turning up in numbers (even though as others have said their support, most of them, is poor) Pedro nowhere near top 3 for me. Nice finish, but he surely has to bring more to the 'table' (even though as others have said, the service is mostly poor). Hughes neither; worryingly error prone. (not wanting to take credit away from 'what others have said' )
