The clubs going nowhere under walter Been obvious for ahwile Now whether the clubs going anywhere under acun is a diff question But walter is not the right man to be manager There is no progress There is nothing to suggest there will be
Your dross is another man's possession based football. Did you go for a pie at half time saying 'what a load of dross'? As Tim said, we didn't take our chances and Pompey got their tails up, cheered on by a vocal away support. It happens. We need to learn from it.
What's to get up for..? We £uck about at the back end for 5 mins, followed by a aimless ball that ends up going out of play or going to one of theirs...The truth is, our squad is piss poor and i fear that with Millar being out for the rest of the season its going to be seat of the pants stuff and hoping there are three worse teams than us.
1st half wasn't all that. Was ok but not some amazing football and you can't get by by only playing for 45 mins. If this was a one off fair enough but it wasn't
I don’t even disagree with his comments. It’s just a bad time to bring it up. Our home atmosphere is ****e.
Anyone with ears knows its pretty **** But hes projecting after an absolutely woeful 2nd half Thats bad
Probably because he coached at a big German club with a rocking atmosphere and has come to a place where the club issues official statements finger-wagging to the vocal minority in the North Stand for standing and trying to create an atmosphere. The club’s idea of creating an atmosphere is crappy light shows and pyrotechnics whilst telling off the naughty boys in the North Stand for being too rowdy.
Well there was Balloonie going down like he'd been shot by a sniper in the penalty area. Kamara trying to loop the ball over a defender and place the ball inside the far post rather than a simple pass to the right where two players were running into the box. The final third desicion making has been rubbish for ages, the player has to make that there and then.
I'd love to see the pair of them together tbh. Bedia looks decent at holding the ball up when played to his feet, but he doesn't seem to have much of an eye for goal
True. We could have been 2 up, and we deserved to be IF possession counted (but it doesn't), but we were very sloppy, wasteful in possession, went backward far too often (I posted near HT that surely we should be 'braver' in looking forward etc).
For all these having a pop at Acun.. have a word with yourselves. What has the man done than to try and bring success to this club and area. Mistakes, absolutely, intentional, not in a million. Lets look at what he's had to endure. He made a crap appointment in Shota in which he trusts a friend and unfortunately it didn't work out. Liam Rosenior flirted with him with promises and got a job where all was looking ok, then when in a play off position, Acun loaded Roseniors gun at his expense and it backfired. He had the right to say, you messed up. He went after Cooper and I think we recognise TW was never the first choice irrespective of the hyperbole and perhaps someone that was suggested to Acun rather than Acuns choice and the appointment took so long to conclude that I suspect theres a significant pay off in the contract based on previous appointments. The man was supposed to bring some fantastic football. I'll leave that there. His recruitment team ****ed up during the summer and ultimately despite all his business interests and commitments he took time to explain to fans which he was never obliged to do and made some undeniable exciting signings on a permanent basis. Now, his closest ally may or may not have ****ed him and the club over and worse, his dreams for the season and ultimate aspirations are not working. Despite all of the commitments, this man gets on a plane almost every week to fly thousands of miles to watch his football team, the passion for which for me is unquestionable. Other owners dint even rack up. He's almost filled a recently desolate stadium with people who share his belief. I dread to think how much he's spent, and if he decides TW hasn't delivered what he promised, then so be it. Whoever is next in charge will get my support. With what he has done for this club Acun should have total support. Not people saying he can '**** off'.
First half should have been 3 goals up, few players looking tired, though when it worked it looked good against a relegation favourite... Second half sponsored by Nytol and Horlicks... We trotted out looking like we didn't give a ****, still sorting out our postions by the time we'd already ****ed it up and give it to their keeper for the punt upfield to the un-commedy of errors. Too many looking tired, out of sorts or out of position, substitutes too late, it's all been said, but beyond frustrated, have too admit I made a loud 'tut' as I left...
Its not even just about today Its every game We do have times where we look great in games Periods of the qpr, cardiff, stoke 1st half v burnley was our best of the season But they made changes at half time, it was obvious even to me But we didnt do anything to counter it We always make like for like subs We are so one dimensional, tim might be a fantastic manager But he makes the wrong choices a few bit Hes very set in his ways wrongly or rightly No idea what its like during training and in the dressing room But theres a clear problem in midfield Every game, we sub out almost the full midfield Omur has turned to **** under walter I dont think its a coincidence I think it will come down to the players Maybe they love walter, but they just look so clueless at times on their positioning
