Pretty radical for the Tory party to elect a black woman as leader tbh. It's good to see, but there will be lots on the right wing who will hate it that they've done that.
he is loathsome or rather has become loathsome as he saw how the wind was blowing to the right . Badenoch is "interesting" but not sure she is a natural politician though .
Not really after rishi. Before rishi I would never have bet that the Tories would ever be run by someone not white and privileged tbh
Rest is Politics reported ages ago that they had heard senior Tories describe Kemi as an "idiot" Rishi, for example, genuinely thought she was an appalling cabinet minister and ran the business office particularly badly. So, good choice.
Everyone just keeps moaning about everything at the moment, if they are not slagging off the Tories, they are slagging off Labour, and tbph no matter how much people are moaning it's not going to make the slightest bit of difference. Labour are here to stay and the Tories are unfit to govern, so it's a stalemate and no one else is anywhere near minding that gap. Keep hearing Labour have lost so many points in the polls, how is any of this relevant ffs, and quite frankly I couldn't give a shhite - Labour are here to stay regardless of what any poll says. As for Kemi, she's better than that other slimy git and let's face it, she's just a token stopgap who might be able to kick a few Tory arses around and it's certainly needed, but beyond that she is of no importance to the system for at least 4 more years, if ever - they'll let her slap a few people about then throw her in the bin with all the rest, because that's how politics operates these days. What I do know though that is relevant at the moment, there's a lot of pissed off farmers, at least it's taken everyone's mind off Dover for a few days.
This is the media's doing. When you have British news outlets hiring people like Jeremy Kyle to comment on legislation you know you have a society in deep trouble, I don't think any country in Europe right now is being more negatively effected by Americanisation more so than the UK. I honestly don't know what the future holds for Britain but I am of the opinion that it's a nation devouring itself, too caught up in bullshit international politics that have no daily effect on lives and borking at ANY talk of change at a local level. How can you have a party like Labour possibly represent working class builders, Uni students AND people working in the cities? You can't. But you have too, because the political system only supports that. So, people feel unrepresented and they moan. You need a catch all big tent party that in the end represents no one. Then you have Farage and his lot who are just Americans, they mays well call themselves the Republicans, but they won't cos they know the average knuckle dragger would freak out about losing the Queen, who they don't even know died years ago.
Funny amendment that Dunno why the twitter post is crying about her voting Dem though, she obvs enjoyed her time in the White House.
75m made available for border force to waste again. Meanwhile old people starve and young people can't buy a house.
