Earlier I posted that AA playing for U21s might be a sign Rigg was okay but he misses out and now I’m worried that AA is getting match fitness as we think Rigg might be out a while Hope we get news on it soon (if appropriate). Genuinely not even bothered about the football, just worried for the lad.
I agree but, at the moment, we don't know if there's anything to worry about ... ... less than an hour to kick off so that's where my focus is. Sorry if that sounds harsh.
as long as the 18 men in the squad and all the staff are focusing on the game. I’m watching the Grand Prix sprint race so it doesn’t really matter where my concerns are
We don’t know for certain mate you’re exactly right. Game of football to win and I’m sure riggy would want us to win it with or without him
I wonder who becomes the “2” alongside Isidor in the 4-4-2 shape. Or if we switch. Jobe has been great in the deeper role so fear he’d be less effective further up.
Hope Rigg is all good. I'm sure RLB will speak about it after the game. Interested to see which of Jobe or Browne join Isidor in the 442 press. If I remember correctly, against Cardiff it was Jobe who was more advanced. Their back 4 is a strange mix. Jimmy Dunne playing right back, a midfielder in Sam Field playing centre back and Ashby who is a right back playing left back. No real midfield protection either as that is Fields job. Big chance for another 3 points here.
I hope we win. If we do I hope we get the credit. QPR drew with Burnley and took all the praise despite not having an attempt on goal. I'm a bit bored with being told we only won because Luton had injuries or Hull were robbed by the referee. Whatever the situation you have to beat what's in front of you, Burnley didn't.
