So Mario got a red big deal, if that Skirtel had got up, and not lay on the ground like he been feld by a Sherman Tank. It didn't help that the Liverpool players all crowded around the ref demanding a red card be shown. i am sure the ref would have just had a word in Mario's ear to be careful. Once again we see what the Liverpool team is all about, dishing out the fouls but can't stand it when it is given back to them. All diving around everytime they feeel a player breathing down their neck. As for L. Suarez what a cheat he is, how many times did he dive, trying to win free kick, at least the ref didn't fall for it all the time. However the ref should have booked him for diving, he must have told Suarez at least 6 if not more time stop diving get up. The 1st time Suarez did that it should have been a yellow card. What a bunch of girls blouses the Liverpool players are. As for Mario 's 1 game ban he would have missed tonights game anyway, as also would have G. Barry
Page_Moss_Kopite, what is the matter cannot stand the truth. As they say THE TRUTH ALWAYS HURTS. Whats with all this handball form the kop everytime ithits a player in the chest in the penalty area. Are all Liverpool fans blind as well.
please log in to view this image Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned striker Mario Balotelli to be savvy about opponents who are trying to get him sent off. Mancini accused Liverpool players of provoking the striker when he was shown a red card in Sunday's 1-1 draw, his third in 16 months since joining City. "Mario should pay attention and he should be clever," Mancini said. "I can do nothing - only he is on the pitch. He should pay attention and think only about football." Balotelli, a second-half substitute, had been on the field just 18 minutes at Anfield when he was shown a second yellow card for a clash with Martin Skrtel in the 83rd minute. I think he made a mistake only for the first foul when he took the first yellow card," Mancini said. "Then he should not take any risks." Balotelli is enjoying the best spell of his City career, having scored nine times this season. Mancini added: "He is more mature, this is clear. But, in my opinion, if Mario was on the pitch in the last 20 minutes, we could have won the game. "It is important Mario understands we need him as a player on the pitch." Balotelli is back in contention for tomorrow's home league clash with Norwich after serving the ban for his red card by sitting out the midweek Carling Cup quarter-final win at Arsenal. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16008547.stm
balotelli dirty bastard, if he had been a man u player he would of got a 5 game ban for that. bent fa
Newcastle fan in peace. Thought his red card was a disgrace, only got sent off because Skrtel rolled around like a fanny knowing Balotelli was already on a yellow. He had eyes on nothing but the ball the entire time. Tough break for him really, although the first booking was pretty dumb. Lucky you've got a couple of half-decent players to play when he's banned eh.
I'd love to trawl footage of every city player to ever go down to produce a yellow. but I don't have time nor will. Grow up lads, ye got off lucky with a draw, as for Baloteli, if you are booked, don't go into challenged leading with your elbow as it leaves the door open for a booking. Regardless of what Skrtel did or did not do, Baloteli was on a yellow and went into a challenge leading with his elbow, not too bright
