Has a team ever had only one point after ten matches? Hopefully not. Be another record for the books.
Relegation decider for us and Ipswich today - the extent of my ambition is that we carry on our record of having scored in every game ... ... that's ****ed that, then
Arsenal commit a few dodgy offences to the extent the commentators are saying they need to be careful not to get anyone sent off. We make a bad challenge and get given the first (and so far only) yellow of the game. Sounds about right.
Feels like we kind of need to score here, we're all over them but not really doing enough to deserve a second. On the plus side the referee finally realised he was allowed to give cards to the Arsenal team, definitely should have 3+ by now - Timber in particular.
I got you down as a 2-1 win this week and Isak first scorer, mainly because of your result against Chelsea, so you need to get a second, then Arsenal for a consolation, probably jinxed it now.
Draw is marginally most likely I suspect as if we don't score now we'll fall back in the last 20 minutes, if Arsenal equalise with 10-15 mins to go then they'll win. Oh and look, Timber just broke up a good chance by "taking one for the team" and getting a yellow. If he'd been booked already like he should have been then he couldn't have done that. Was always going to happen.
Won’t have Arsenal fans incessantly crying over that one while bemoaning every decision that goes against them in every game and insisting the league has an agenda.
First half Guimareas turned him and ran past, Timber grabbed his shirt and actually tore the number off the back of it to stop him getting away (it wasn't subtle). The referee just had a quiet word even though it was the 3-4th thing he'd done. Tonali has just got booked for the first innocuous thing he did, there's zero consistency here. In fairness the ref was letting a lot of things go in the first half and that just happened to benefit Arsenal much more than us. He's now started handing out the cards but it's likely to be at a point in the game where we start to sit back and they're attacking, I can see us finishing with 4-5 easily and them only getting a couple and the game has been the other way around in terms of who is commiting the worse fouls (so far).
