The Pilgrims have been awful on the road this season, picking up just one point from a possible eighteen away from home, conceding thirteen, and scoring just once. Largie Ramazani (ankle ligament), Ethan Ampadu (knee) and Ilea Gruev (recovering from meniscus surgery) are all ruled out medium to long term for Leeds whilst Max Wober returned to training on Tuesday, and should be back after the International Break. Jaidon Bogle will sit the game out after picking up his fifth booking of the season at Ashton Gate last weekend, with versatile utility player Sam Byram likely to fill in. The 31yo will switch flanks, as Daniel Farke welcomes back Junior Firpo to his line-up. There are question marks over the fitness of Joffy Gelhardt( hip), Dan James (hamstring) and Patrick Bamford (adductor), leaving Daniel Farke short on attacking wide options. Manor Solomon looks set for more minutes, albeit from the bench after a tentative return from injury. Despite this, Farke has the luxury of choosing between Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph to lead the line. The visitors will be without inspirational skipper Joe Edwards for the rest of the year after picking up a hamstring injury during their 3-3 draw last time out. Fellow defender Lewis Gibson (thigh) and Winger Ibrahim Cissoko (suspended also miss out. Darko Gyabi is not eligible to play against his parent club
Well both myself and the 2 AI's have gone for the same score this week. So get your money on anything other than a 2 -1 victory for Leeds. Both Ai's have confirmed that as Fatty Rooney is a manager and not a player, then he cannot be sent off in the game on Saturday. However when advised that managers can be sent off, chatGPT says that Rooney is normally calm on the touchline and thus they consider it unlikely, whilst Google Gemini said, that given Rooney's recent record, it is entirely possible that he could be sent off Aski's predicted score Leeds United 2 - 1 Plymouth Argyle ChatGPT Leeds United 2 - 1 Plymouth Argyle Google Gemini Leeds United 2 - 1 Plymouth Argyle
They've conceded loads on the road so we will be lucky to score. they've only scored once so they'll get at least 2 They have 7 players out against, probably, the strongest team in the league. We are Leeds so we'll probably lose 1-2.
So would I, but I don't post the predicted score I expect, I go for what my data tells me ( and to be honest the data route has not been very successful for me this season ). Think this is also the first time that both my data and the 2 AI's have come up with the same score. So it will probably be a 5-4 thriller now
Nor sure it will be the whitewash everyone is expecting, other than Cardiff, the recent games they've lost have only been by the odd goal, including away to Burnley and showed great character by coming back from 3 down last week to get a draw. Should obviously be a win but not a landslide I reckon. I'd be happy if it's the same scoreline last time Rooney came here and he had a meltdown with his team and threw everyone of them under the bus, as non of it was his fault, taking a team from 5th down to 17th.
well we all know what Plymouth's gameplan will be. It will be park the bus and see what they can get of us when we over commit. The longer it stays 0-0 the more chance they could hit us with something. its a cliché thing to say but if we score early it should be game over. BUT! can we break them down? can we hit the target with a clean strike? Hearing Plymouth have quite a few of there key players out for this so on paper its should be a comfy home win but being a Leeds fan we sometimes don't read the script. pls god let's just turn a screw tomorrow find some composure and do the job we should be able to do.
Reckon 1-0 to us. We all know the script, and I don’t mean the one Eire’s been reading , though I’d be extremely happy for a big win for once.
